LUNENBURG BIKE SHOP - Rhumb Line Bicycles

The store wasn't even officially open yet but the person working there let us in to look around anyway. I guess that's a soft opening.Anywho, the store is okay in our books!

Alex is always very helpful. We are very fortunate to have this great bicycle shop with her expertise.

A group of us travelling from Ontario rented bicycles for the day. We were greeted warmly by the owner, fitted for bikes and given some great recommended routes. A fantastic experience and the best way to see the area. Would recommend to anyone and everyone! Thanks for the great service!

If I could give zero I would. We called Wednesday morning to just ask some questions and inquire about availability. We were told that Wednesday was not a good day but Thursday was. We chatted about it and called back within a couple hours. I said we had already called but wanted to for sure rent 2 e-bikes for Thursday. He confirmed that like 3 times during our phone call. He asked if we could be there for 10. We said no problem. I asked if he needed anything to reserve them and he said just my name and number which I provided. We arrived at 955 and waited until he was done with a gentleman already there. It was the same guy as I had chatted with the afternoon before. I said we were here for the 2 e-bikes on reserve. Without even looking g at a book or computer he said that there was only one available for rental for the day. I mentioned that I had called the previous day and he assured me that there would be 2. He didn't seem too bothered by his apparent mistake. We had come with friends, who had made other plans for the day and had left with the vehicle. We had a whole day trip planned using these e-bikes. We mentioned this and he still seemed unfazed about it at all. Nothing offered, nothing done to make sure customers weren't leaving the store absolutely upset.Long story short, don't go here. They don't care if they mess up and they don't do or offer anything about their mistakes. As an owner of a business, this employee would no longer be here. I know it's under new management but if this is the management... WOW pathetic!!!

The girl in the store today told me they didn't have valves that would fit my bike... what kind of bike shop doesn't have p valves? She was way more interested in selling a bike to another customer. My ride day has been ruined.

We rented a bike here and were so glad we did. The owner is so knowledgeable about local bike trails, she sent us to two of the most beautiful spots in our tour of Nova Scotia. She also shared great places to eat that were really fun! Thanks for all the help and fun conversation!
