Parsons Park Rink

It has been improved drastically! Its so nice!

Ineeds more public knowledge that the rink is there in the park.

It's a peaceful and safe place for family, kids and the public!

My kids played in this park when they were little. Now they range in age from 37 to 43. There was lots of swings and equipment back then, and there was a baseball diamond, soccer field, and in winter there were two ice rinks. But, over the years the city got rid of the soccer and ball fields, and no one wanted to look after the ice. The equipment got tired and shabby and hardly anyone used it. Kids had to walk several blocks to a different park, which isn't especially safe these days.Now, however, I am happy to report that things have changed a great deal. Brand new equipment with a variety of ways to play, benches & picnic tables, trees & there is a plan for fruit forest to be planted in the future. If you are in Eagle Place and have wee ones in your life; come check it out. Access off Erie Ave. @ Parsons Ave with some parking. Also a paved path & entrance on Ontario St that is wheelchair & stroller accessible.
