Oh my goodness..... working in Alban for a few days and came to this place for lunch..... don't know where to start..... i had 2 pieces of pickerel with fries and it was absolutely delicious.... i need to say that i am an avid pickerel fisherman and i cook a lot of fish and this was as good as mine if not a bit better....As for the price ... it is ridiculous...i had the same down the highway and paid $25 and it was not as good as this one. The cost for this dish... an incredible $12 .....So if you are driving on hwy 69 it is absolutely worthwile to come to this place(10 mins off the highway) for a snack...you will thank me for it...

Drove down from Sudbury for the 2 piece, pickerel, fish and chips. Fish was excellent, nice portions, fries were good. Friendly staff. Worth the Saturday drive.

What a great little fish and chip spot. The pickerel was light and flaky, cooked perfectly. Large portion of salad and crispy fries. The staff was very friendly and helpful and also spoke French. There is a large outdoor covered patio as well.

2 pieces of Pickerel or Haddock plus small fries in tray for $14.50. Chips were not thick cut but only thin type. Open Friday to Sunday only.

Awesome whitefish and walleye. Texture and taste was very fresh. Great fries too. Awesome pit stop and not too far off the highway. I'll make this stop again everytime I pass through.

Stopped here throughout the week. Great taste and poutine is real! The lady at the cash has a French accent. I knew right away the poutine was going to be delicious. Cheese curds are really delicious.

Had the Pickerel fish and chips. Fantastic. Lightly battered and done to perfection. 5 stars without a doubt because of an excellent quality/price ratio. Far better than you can usually expect from a rural order-at-the-window eat outside place.Will come here again.
