Staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The service is efficient and line-ups are rare (additional staff provided service the few times I encountered line-ups, which reduced the line-ups effectively -- this is an example of the excellent service I've experienced at this branch).

I have always had good service with this branch. I like this branch better as I have far less difficulty in finding PARKING. The staff is generally very helpful, and I haven't had any issues. I find that it is helpful to make sure that you have a receipt for your transactions, and to be clear about your expectations, as with everything else.

I have always found this branch short of staff and the service of their staff is also not up to the standards. I needed a statement of my accounts and I called their help line before going to this branch. The help line person told me I can just go into any branch and they will issue me the statement. I went to this branch and asked for the statement but was told that I need to request this 24 hrs in advance. I was shocked to hear that to generate a statement they need 24 hrs.

Beware! I deposited CASH butit was not in my account when I checked online, I went back to the bank to find out What's happening. The cashier depoited it to another account but said that the computer made a mistake. How could it be possible? I gave her my bank card for deposit? It's never happened at other bank. Soooo.....Check the balance to make sure the fund was deposited!!!!!!!

I was given a chance to bank here, I find the bank is trying to help me move forward. I think some of the services are good, I find the packages to be accommodating and helpful. I aim to build myself a good financial situation for the future and aim to fix my credit. I think it's important to build trust with the bank and do well. I find Vancity is a good bank to choose. I find the account manager is been helpful and seems to want my bank account to do well and to have a plan for a brighter future, thank you Vancity for giving me a chance.

Update:Dropping my rating by one star.Took out a term deposit last week. I know interest rates are horribly low these days, but that aside.... I was given a rate that was marginally lower than the rate posted on the VC website.They say you should never attribute to malice which can be easily attributed to ignorance.In this case, the fault was mine for not checking their rates before visiting the bank...but, should I have to?-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Very disappointed to find drug addicts camping out in the VC ATM area this weekend. Is the area not monitored?Only a matter of time before there's an 'incident'.

I was a business customer here, however vancity will never have my business again. They told me improper information on opening my account, and then when I closed my account, it took them three tries (and several emails and refusals to just send it to me) to get a simple letter ready for me and they still did it wrong when I'd given them clear instructions. I shouldn't have to go in three plus times to get a simple (and correct) one page letter.
