Great for road trips. We stop here almost every time we are going through the area. It is one of the closest gas stations on the highway and for that reason alone, we tend to use it more often. They are exactly the same as any other Irving station in every other way. The store is organized, the restaurant is good, and it’s conveniently located. No complaints here.

We stopped in for a meal before heading out with friends. Service was pretty fast. Everything was good, but, they were a little light on the gravy, even though I ordered extra.

The food here is always good no matter what I have. The staff here is the perfect combination of friendly and helpful without hovering over your table constantly. I have noticed the portion sizes have slowly decreased over the past number of years, but the prices are reasonable. Their pies are well worth saving the room for. They are a very good size and tastes like homemade!

Went for a meal and it was no where near as good as they used to be. Prices certainly went up which is understandable to a point then it becomes gouging. Service was good but for the price the food was no where worth the price. For me this is the second time that I felt this way so I think it is time to find a different place. Truly I do not mind paying for a tasty meal but sadly this was not. Pan fried haddock was soggy and veggies tasted a week old. Well the fries and coleslaw was good but either of those does not account for the very big bill in the end.

I've always been a fan of 'greasy' breakfast platters and the Big Stop has never disappointed in that respect. The 'Big Breakfast' clocks in at $13.99 and includes what is depicted, plus another full plate of toast / pancakes. Filling. Staff have always been friendly and engaging - you're made to feel like a regular, not just another patron.

My gas card for work was not working, I am from Dartmouth and was doing a delivery in the valley. A young man named Aaron was kind and helpful when he let me fill up my truck. I came back a few days later to pay for my fuel. Exceptional customer service, I can't say enough about how helpful he was. You've gained a customer for life. Keep up the great work!
