The best and most relaxing stay we had during our whole visit to the Canadian Rockies! We had dinner at Kumana and it was our favorite meal of the trip. It was so creative and delicious with the best ingredients, and definitely a welcomed surprise after a long drive fromBanff through the Icefield Parkway. I’m still thinking about those brussel sprouts! We also loved the tagliatelle. And the pavlova with passion fruit curd and fresh raspberries.. to die for!Our cabin was nestled by the Athabaska River overlooking the moon and stars. We were given a bag of firewood, a starter and matches so we built a fire, shared some local wine and beer, relaxed and reminisced about the adventures we’ve had so far while watching the stars. The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable and this was the best sleep we had the entire trip! I wanted to stay forever!Thank you to the staff at Pine Bungalows for being so thoughtful, comforting and welcoming!

Great place to stay in Jasper! We stayed in a room in the hotel area (vs a cabin) and it worked well for the 2 of us! Rooms were super cozy, clean and modern. Cute balcony looking out onto the forest. The restaurant was really great - this surprised us how high quality the food was! Definitely would recommend going there for breakfast / dinner.

Our family had an exceptional experience at Pine Bungalows. We had never been to Jasper before, and we can’t think of a better place to stay to be able to enjoy the raw beauty that envelops the town. The location was superb - right along the Athabasca River, and a 2-minute drive to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and town. The cabins were 10/10 clean and the staff was incredibly warm and attentive, especially Strawberry. The kids loved the perks of the stay (the treasure hunt, the welcome goodies, and seeing wild animals on the property including elk, mountain goats and a fox!). We loved that the cabin had all the amenities needed to make our stay comfortable with kids (all of the dishes and pans were brand new!). We ate at Kumama a few times and the food there is unbelievably delicious. I’m still drooling thinking of the breakfast sandwich. We can’t wait to visit again!

Went here for my honeymoon. The guy at the front desk was rude and argumentative right off the bat because I didn't have a major credit card with me. I had visa debit, and the room was booked using a major credit card. I go to Jasper often for skiing and this has never been an issue. I usually use cash, or my visa debit as a damage deposit. They are supposed to bring a free bag of firewood every day. I call 3 times and they wouldn't bring me the wood. they said it would come when they got a chance. They brought 2 the next day. That was frustrating and unnecessary. Terrible service when I was paying $500 a night plus tax. I'll be staying in town next time...

Great food, I think even the locals come to eat at the bistro. Ordering take-out for our canoe trip was painless and exceeded my expectations. Our cabin was newly built and furnished, well maintained, quality cookware, heated bathroom floors! Will stay again sometime.

Fantastic experience with my family. We all loved our time here. The bed was very good. Heated floor in the bathroom. Dining was excellent. A small herd of Elk camped outside our cabins.

Absolutely loved our stay here. The staff/service was friendly and excellent. The accommodations were great, views were amazing and the property was gorgeous. Our kids loved the treasure hunt and the room to bike and use their scooters. I can’t say enough about how friendly and nice the staff were, it stood out.We can’t wait to come stay here again.

This was a great find. We had a river front cabin and the location is just outstanding. The cabin was well equipped and we had no issues whatsoever. Customer service was great and the quality of the breakfast/lunch was equally good.If I could think about the requiremnents for a hotel in Jasper, i would think about the following:1) Location2) Quality of the cabins/amenities3) Solitude/Environment4) Customer ServiceI think Pine Bungalows was Excellent in all of the above - honestly not much to opine on but to provide a balanced view, there are a few minor things to keep note (and hopefully the owners can change a couple)1) Wifi in the cabins are very spotty and not really usable - not such a big deal since one is here for the outdoors but it would have been nice to have a bit more bandwidth2) The cabins are heated using a gas fire place (not forced air heating or things like that - it was literally a gas powered fire place) which means it takes hours for the cabin to heat up. Once we checked in, we walked into a cold cabin and the heat was turned off. The cabin slowly heated up but it would been more appopriate for the hotel to have it turned on before we arrived as opposed to make us wait for hours to warm up (btw, we had no idea that Jasper could get that cold in the night during summer!)3) I am not sure as to why the hotel does not advertise this too much but they have a fabulous short walking trail right in front of their cabins along the river - we were in a cabin in the low 20s section and as you came out towards the river, there is a trail to the left (away from the road) which goes right by the river - downright awesome! We lucked into this since there was not much information but one possible reason could be related to potential safety/liability as sections of the trail are immediately next to a fast moving river (so fair warning!)

Had a great time at pine bungalows! The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, the cabin itself was a lot roomier than I expected, nice size firepit (and firewood supplied at your doorstep!) Plus the river is literally under 100m away. It's also super close to town for shops and dining. All in all it was super relaxing and quiet, I'd definitely come back A+

Loved the little cabins. Nice view of the river. Some were in swimming but indicated it was refreshing. Saw animals in the area which was a nice surprise. Elk coyote signs of bear.Cabins were clean and pleasant. We had breakfast in the restaurant. The fried egg sandwich and pancakes. Thumbs up.
