Still the best place for corn, absolutely zero competition in all of Ontario and Quebec. No matter how good or fresh other sources end up being, no one has ever had a sweeter and stronger flavour of yellow corn then Laundry’s! It’s actually a real problem - it’s ruined corn on the cob for me! I drive from Ottawa to the county once a month to visit family, so I only get to eat it 4 times a year during my visits in the seasonal months (I always take 18 home with me and go nuts eating just corn for 4 days straight... my poor bowels!).Can no longer buy corn at farmers markets as it can’t hold a candle to the incredible produce at Laundry’s. You can also feel good about your money going straight to the grower, whereas so many farmers markets these days are filled with resellers and sourcing produce not that differently from grocers. Support our small(er) scale farmers ❤️

We stopped at the super friendly farm stand to grab some strawberries, and boy, were they fresh! They carry seasonal produce, so we'll be back!

Good strawberries, rude behaviourMy wife went to pick up strawberries - in spite of the advice that some of the folks working on the farm are rude. Well, it happened. On her way back from the strawberry patch, someone by the name of Jean or Jane deemed that the little baskets were too full" and started emptying them. My wife took the same little baskets at the stand as measurement. Then this Jean or Jane parked her tractor in front of my wife's car

They have unique veritables and fruits that I can’t find in other places like heirloom tomatoes and yellow flesh sweet water melons. Some staff have a bit attitude.

I bought some veg there and didn't realize until I got them home that they were really past their best before date. For example the corn was hard. A red pepper was mouldy inside. Carrots were wooden. Another thing I noticed is that they have chickens and turkeys and those poor things were crammed so tight together they could barely move. It is sad to treat a living thing that way.
