Complaint related to not only the state of their property, but ongoing issues with the upkeep of dogs owned by their tenants. Our side of the property next to theirs had been destroyed by the dogs and was being used by the tenants as their personal space.I had spoken to, complained to the city about, and written a letter to our neighbours asking for correction of the issues and payment of damages to no avail.Leon Presner and his team prepared a letter and later filed a lawsuit to the small claims court for damages. Their documentation of the issues and request for compensation was compelling enough that brought our neighbours to the table to try and settle it. Lavinia Volney, in particular, handled the communication with my neighbours effectively despite their continued efforts to dismiss and actually cancel the lawsuit. Thanks to them I avoided the need to go to court and incur even more expenses.Very pleased with the result. I highly recommend them.

I recently used Defend-it Legal Services to handle my PR Card renewal application and the logistics of moving back to Canada after 14 years in the United States. Leon Presner prepared and submitted the application on my behalf as well as provided information and answered the many questions that I had. He even went above and beyond to speak to immigration official at the border on the telephone when I was stopped bringing my household belongings into Canada from the US. He has helped me immensely and his knowledge and expertise have been integral to this process. My residency has been approved and I am awaiting notification to pick up my card at a local immigration office. I highly recommend Mr. Presner and his team to all!

This is 0 stars reviews, just Leon arranged with google to delete my 1 star reviews. Summary: We signed contingency agreement at the end of January 2020 and paid 565 dollars deposit with verbal agreement plaintiff claim to be done by the end of February, actually he said it will be done in a matter of days. Contingency agreement was based on 20% payment to Leon received from defendant (32k) after completion of the case. We were waiting for 4 months to get drafted plaintiff claim, and in meantime some his employee who supposed to draft that claim left him, so after 4 months some students drafted it and what we received was very poor work, even I would do better. I asked LegalShield for second opinion and Leon cancelled the agreement without returning money, even deposit was meant to cover expenses only. The real reason for braking the contingency agreement is that Leon actually wasn't able to deliver the promised work. He charged out of the blue 250 dollars per hour for replying to my emails asking when plaintiff claim will be done. Beside wasted time and money, all experience with him was very stressful. He keeps deleting my reviews and is treating me with the court. Thankfully I can prove all what I said. There were also many other negative reviews here that suddenly disappeared". Leon
