Sketchley Cleaners

Sent two dresses to have dry cleaned. One was a toddler's dress and the other was a formal dress. Did not have rush service - they charged me $71.50

The male owner is a racist! I have never had my drapery cleaning before, so I am not sure how much it would cost to clean. He quoted me $18 for clearnig and I was happy with the quote, so I decdied to use his service. When I was about to pay, he said it's $36 plus tax, so the total was over $40. I was confused and he said because there were 2 panels. I told him I would need to think about it cos I paid $50 for new curtains and I don't think i would pay over $40 to have them clean. He started to get super upset by telling me how I wasted his time and threw his pad on the table loudly to show his anger. I said I paid $50 for new ones and he said he didn't care at all. What surprised me was that he started to attack me with racist insults like: you should go back to China if you want cheap labour" !!!! OMG....I would have said no to him at the begining if he quoted me $18 "EACH"!! All he said was "it's $18". So it's customer's fault that he didn't give clear instruction at first and blamed it on customers for being cheap?? I told him we are in Canada. Racist comments are not welcomed. He just wanted me to leave....Definitely not going back again to support a racist in the community..."

Great service, showed me trouble spot on my suit that was no longer an issue, even after I forgot all about that.. Polite, respectful, addressed me by my first name, very personable. Great job.
