Best dojo ever. Staff are so nice and eager to teach. the environment is awesome and everyone is supportive. Thank you Shihan Bruce, Renshi Darren, sensei Charity and all of the other sensei’s. I definitely recommend this dojo.

My son has been at Northern Karate for over a year now. This is a fantastic place that I would highly recommend for anyone looking to learn karate and self-discipline. The owner/Shihan Bruce and Sensei Charity are amazing leaders who truly care about all of their students and wish for them to succeed in both Karate and life. Throughout the epidemic, they have been consistently reaching out to provide support and online training. My son thoroughly enjoys the classes and loves working with his instructors like Silas and Anita. In one word, NKS can be described as treating you like Family"."

We are pretty new to this dojo, but so far we love the experience. Bruce and Charity are amazing and kind owners. The dojo is clean and organized and thanks to the many black belt helpers the instructions and practice always happen in small groups (about 2-3 kids for one teacher). My 7-year old son loves the classes. I also love seeing the practical self-defense moves he learns here (some of them I want to learn myself).Even the current virtual setup works well: the main part of the class is held in the same small groups with the help of Zoom hangout rooms. I must say that the school boards could learn from this dojo, that’s how well run and glitch-free are the online classes and kids stay in focus for the entire 30 minutes.I really hope that the pandemic won’t affect this company in any negative way because I want to bring my son here for many years.

I signed for the adult class nearly two months ago. So far I had great experience! Everyone is very welcoming and supportive. Shihan Bruce, Renshi Darrin, and all the sensei are very professional, knowledgeable, and great at training their students! I learned so much and I am very excited for my journey ahead! The teachers always make all the difference and the ones here are amazing people and so passionate. They go beyond to make you happy and build confidence in your talents and abilities. Northern Karate Schools in Aurora is the best dojo you will ever attend to. The staff is very welcoming, positive, hard working and much more. I've been doing karate for almost 7 years now and I absolutely love it. It has taught me to become a better person, to be more confident and to be myself. Shihan Bruce and Sensei Charity are running an amazing Karata dojo! The entire staff is respectful, encouraging and extremely helpful. Northern Karate School Aurora has been an excellent experience for my son and I.- I really appreciate the flexibility in class times by attending class with my son during Family classes on Thursday and Saturday.- The professionalism of the helpful staff with their wealth of knowledge and useful tips has enhanced our understanding of karate both in theory and application.- Due to my work pay schedule, Northern Karate School made accommodations that fit my needs.- The students and staff who attend regularly have become an extended family.I'm looking forward to participating again in the Aurora street festival demonstrations and interaction with the crowd.
