Joe did a fantastic job. The driveway was cleaner after he left than before. We had an extremely difficult dead tree about 60’+ in a very tight spot. The only safe way to remove it was with his grapple saw. I felt better knowing that no one had to climb the tree to remove it.

We hired Joe and his team to remove 5 trees on our property and grind the stumps. Joe said the job would be completed in the middle of May. His team was here May 17th! Joe is very friendly, and was a delight to talk to when he came by to quote the job. The team he sent was very efficient with their time. They cut down the trees, and had everything cleaned up in no time at all. The people working here were very friendly. We will definitely hire JL's again in the future.

In every way this company provided exceptional customer service and technical proficiency when it was most needed to remove an especially large and difficult to access tree. They also offered the most competitive quote amongst five comparable and highly reputable companies. Our 200 year old willow was about to fall over. It was located at the bottom of a steep hill, far from any road access, and stretched into neighbours' yards on both sides of our property. After carefully examining the situation, JL took the time to meet with the neighbours, address their concerns, and secure permission to access their properties (which was especially challenging since one neighbour was a townhouse complex/condo board). He made time on the weekend to sort this all out and got the job done with a short turnaround time. He's an excellent communicator, who answered all of my questions clearly and promptly and helped manage my concerns about cost, risk, impact on the yard, animal wellbeing, etc. The crew was professional and personable, and their expert handling of the tree and their equipment meant that the work got done in one short day, without any damage to the surrounding gardens or the shed or fence underneath the tree. They even made the extra effort to relocate the swing set and a ninja line for us, and to tidy up the yard afterward. We are relieved and grateful customers!

JL's Tree Service was great from start to finish! Once I requested a quote Joe was out quickly to check our trees and determine they needed to come down. They worked with us throughout the whole permitting process. Once we had the permit Johanne got us scheduled in as quick as she could. She knew that our neighbour wanted one of the trees down so when she had a last minute cancellation she called us and we were fit in even earlier.The whole team was fast, friendly and professional. We could tell they knew exactly what they were doing. Unfortunately while they were here their stumper ran into issues. They did parts but couldn't finish. The crew said they would let the office know and come back as soon as they could.The few stumps that were left weren't a huge deal so we weren't in a major rush but once the stumper was fixed Johanne let us know a range of 3 days they were going around to finish. They came to us first thing on the first day and were in and out in no time. If we weren't first we wouldn't have worried but it was great that we were.We are so impressed with the job they did! We would highly recommend JL's for any tree needs!

These guys were amazing! They were friendly and courteous and totally cleaned up after themselves. Johanne was a pleasure to work with and Joe was so quick to respond to give us the quote. I will definitely use them again.

Joe was on time, every time, and took the time to hear our concerns and helped us understand our options. Joe is a wealth of knowledge, and keen to take on new challenges. We ultimately had some trees and shrubs removed and others trimmed. He had also done previous work with many of our neighbours so he easily scooped up more work in our neighbourhood. Day of trimming and removals, his team was punctual, friendly, thorough, careful, worked safely, and left the yard looking great! They exceeded our expectations across the board. JL's Tree Service did an amazing job removing 2 dying giant blue spruce trees from the middle of our front yard and 1dead willow tree without disturbing any of the other trees around them. I was very impressed with how quickly they did the job and how clean they left the yard. I would highly recommend them.

Great Experience with JL’s.Had a couple trees that needed dealing with as they were in the way of power lines and satellite path. We called JL’s and they looked after us right away! The crew for JL's tree service came in got set up, each person knew what was going on at all times. They were fast, friendly, respectful while upholding all safety aspects of the job. Five stars isn't enough! I highly recommend working with Joe and his team. From the first point of contact to the finished job, Joe's attention to detail and professionalism really shows! The team just removed a dead ash tree from my yard and I wanted to keep a bit for firewood, which they thoughtfully cut and stacked for me. The clean up was better than expected. These guys really know what they are doing. Joe even took the time to discuss concerns I had regarding some other trees, and I appreciate now having peace of mind.
