CIBC Branch with ATM

Went to open an account and the service was great. It was very busy at the branch, but I didn’t have to wait more than 10min. Shout out to Rajvir who was very professional and thorough in explaining all the details. Definitely will return and recommend to others!

I have always had a good service at CIBC, but last couple of visits have been bad. Ordered a draft last month and wasn’t even told that there’s a fee and I was charged. A teller named “Almira” today really proved that she doesn’t belong there yet still works there.

Went to use the drive through ATM. The machine wouldn't give me my money. The machine was clearly malfunctioning. Kept saying to take my money but it wouldnt release my money. Then said retracting money. It never went back into my account. I found out the same thing happened to the car in front of me as well. I called the store the next day (as it was after hours when it happened) and left a voice mail as it wasn't a small amount. No answer. Called again and left a voice mail with my info to call me back. No call back. This bank doesn't care about you, but they are more than happy to keep your money and gost you. Very disappointed in them for the lack of care and communication.

Front teller Ethan was so friendly and helpful and he definitely made up for the long wait in line. Thanks again Ethan!!!

One of the worst branches of CIBC. Wish I could give negative stars. Super super super slow. Always only two tellers to help the long line of customers. I wonder why no employees come from their room to the remaining five empty places/desks of the teller comes to help the clients.

EditI went there a few weeks ago

Told I was unable to withdraw funds because I had forgotten to bring in my ID. Was told one of the tellers who knew me (from banking at CIBC for 30+ years) was not able to confirm my identity. Great job CIBC. I am moving my banking elsewhere.

A washroom seems like such a basic necessity to provide your customers. I was in this location today and they did not have a public washroom. Do better.

I made the mistake of going to this branch to get a money order from my business account for a contractor. I was told the person I was giving it to could just have their bank call the branch manager so the funds could be released right away. Bank manager wouldn’t answer the phone, the bank wouldn’t answer the phone for 3hrs. Went to my local branch which I should have done in the first place and they even tried to direct message the branch manager who was showing online at the time and no response! Thankfully my local branch was able to help with verifying the funds but it was a very frustrating experience.

Had a great experience. Staff was polite and respectful. Big location with lots of room, lots of parking, and there was no wait.
