What a blessed place. They do incredible work to protect and heal local wildlife and are so dedicated to educating the public about the beings we share this land with. They're always top of my list for gifts and places to donate to whenever I can.

Came here for the annual Open House this weekend and had a great time getting to know more about the facility and animals. Staff were very friendly and informative. Very happy to be able to support the wellness of our local wildlife, will definitely return in the future.

She runs the rescue, has volunteers. Only takes birds like geese, falcons, eagles, owls, bats, etc. Most, if not all pigeons, merlins and small birds are a write off.The flock at her home consists of the larger, more expensive parrots that she has rehabilitated" from people trusting and giving their well loved birds to her

Have heard so much about this long time charity based organization and jumped at a chance to attend an open house. Quite impressive the work they do and the facility that they have built over 37 years. All this with only donations and a lot of volunteers. Quite impressive to say the least.

Extremely impressed. I was just at the open house as I haven’t been since the last place and I am so amazed at how far they’ve come. They are doing an excellent job of capitalizing on the funding opportunities and making the most of the resources they have. Some very resourceful management of funds and resources. Rest assured, donations are made the most of.The amount of release animals are increasing due to the focus on natural food sources.Highlights of our tour, the otters stole the tour group away from the guide LOL and we saw the talented Missouri kite bird catch a fly in mid air while perched on her handler.

I found a baby Canada goose gosling in my yard, no mon or dad around. I live along the river and there are many geese that come into the back yard but none came with goslings. Two came in the yard but the little one kept following me thinking I was its mom and would not go to the geese at all. Talked to Kelly at Wildlife Haven and she said that because I have a parrot in my home she would put in an urgent request to have someone come and get him because the possibility of Avian bird flu, She was wonderful and she ended up coming to pick the gosling up at my home herself in just a couple of hours later. Thank you Kelly and Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre! You all Rock!

Fantastic attraction. Great tours on Grand Opening Day throughout the facility. I'm impressed by the great success in rehabilitating wild animals and birds and then releasing them back to nature, the numbers are stunning! It was thrilling to watch the release of an eagle while we were there. Attractive pond with overlooking deck and walkways through natural Prairie Grass. This is a place you must put on your list to visit. Well done!! Thanks to all the doners who contributed!

Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre - Attended the open house September 2022 and we were very impressed with the facility and their rehabilitation process for small wild animals. Despite some public opinion we learned the Rehabilitation Centre is not a government organization and they rely heavily on volunteers, fundraising, and grants. Highly recommend you take advantage of the open house days if you get a chance to get a good understanding of how the facility works and just how well animals are treated.
