The most impressive part for me was the fresh baked sandwich breads! Oh my goodness, I love it ! I got spicy lemon rosemary chicken sandwich , everything was super fresh and tasty, especially vegetables. For sure gonna be back here. Friendly staff and nice sitting area inside and outside of the store .

BREAD PERFECTION !! I'm not normally a sandwich person but I have to say this was by far the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. I had the crispy chicken special (recipe changes weekly) and this time it had truffle in it. All the components that were in the sandwich from the house made bread to the sauce to the breaded chicken to the fresh greens inside were super fresh, and super tasty and flavourful. So many times a breaded chicken can easily be too dry or too salty but this was pure perfection. I also had a cruffin that had a delightfully light and fresh filling and an oat milk latte and both were also items I would come back for individually as well. To absolutely nail it on all 3 items is a major feat, and truly a testament to this hole in the wall. Chef's kiss! Will absolutely be back.

This has been my favourite sandwich shop in downtown for years! I am warmly greeted by Glenn, Rob, and Rodrigo, who make the food with passion and care. They carry the most tasty and fresh gluten free bread that I have ever had. I highly recommend #e for their delicious, fresh and carefully curated menu!

We stopped by #e food the other day and had a delicious lunch, trying their classic breakfast sandwich and the spicy lemon rosemary chicken sandwich. Their buns are always fresh, made in-house (I think). The breakfast sandwich was tasty, although the egg was a bit runny for my partner's liking.I also liked my Spicy Chicken sandwich, but I didn’t find it spicy. We really enjoyed the Sticky Bread Pudding as dessert. Excited to try more of their sweets.

Had a fantastic artisan breakfast at ‘#e food’ this morning. I had the Breakfast sandwich served on a delicious fresh bun, perfect egg, flavourful tomato and avocado. Also had the potatoes and a pastry. I think next time I’ll ask for a little crème fraiche or sour cream for the potatoes but even without they were great.Clearly the staff cares deeply about the quality of their food and even seemed to enjoy being at work.

This is a hidden gem! We stumbled onto this place for breakfast a couple weeks ago while in town for a conference from Seattle. Ordered London Fog (didn't know that the drink was said to be invented in Vancouver!), something from the menu, and some random cakes from the counter. Surprisingly everything was tasty! We ended up coming back again the day on our departure to pack some more pastries to go. Some reviews mentioned the service. I'd say you would not feel the most welcoming atmosphere here, maybe because staff were busy in the morning hours, but everyone was very friendly to us, despite that our little ones were hungry and loud.. They did not rush us, gave us good suggestions, extra cups, etc. I would come back again next time in town.

The. Best. Crostata. Ever.We were lured into this somewhat discreet sandwich shop by the amazing smells coming from within. We were not disappointed. Really caught us off guard how good their items and customer service was. We were informed that everything is made in-house from scratch and it really shines through the goods on offer. 10/10. Will be back tomorrow.
