Have been using weirs for years for USA shipping to cut costs of having it shipped over to Canada.Always had a pretty good experience. Flat fee to hold packages and accommodating to make special arrangements for pick up if necessary.Although I have moved I continue to utilize them for family members or when I visit.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I use Weir when sending packages to family in SSM and it’s great knowing that the items are secure and not sitting on a doorstep.

Quick, friendly service and at a reasonable price. Makes those eBay items much more affordable when shipping from the USA. They have a packing area where you can clean up your boxes and repack your items. Used it a lot, if not too much when I was living in the twin Sault area.

Weir Package and freight did not let me know that packages sent through USPSare no longer delivered to them; they have been out of compliance" for some time now.The parts I need

Great movers. On time and friendly, packed out and loaded 11,000 pounds with no issues. Very easy to work with and they took great care with all of my items. I have done 10 moves in my life and these guys are some of the best.

Staff are always friendly and know you by name.

18 months to finally get a a tracking number for the items we had shipped. We received a lot of misinformation and excuses as to where our package is. At one point the package arrived back at the store. Then the package sat at the store for 10 months!!! We had called several times and even had my mother in-law go down to talk to the manager about it. She was told the package was on it's way, this was 4 months ago. On todays call to the manager, he stated that they were finally sent out two days ago. Would have been nice to know. He could have called, text, or email us with the tracking number, but of coarse didn't.UPDATE: The manager sent our package through fed-ex. We still have not received it. However, the price increased tremendously! by $200!!DO NOT go here for you shipping needs! There are other places to go around the area. I feel if you are not from here, then he doesn't give a hoot about you or you things.

I sincerely hope that this establishment is better at selling furniture than they are at handling the delivery of packages. Anytime I have been to Weirs to pickup a package. I've walked out with a poor customer experience. I do not trust my packages being delivered to Weirs and haven't for some time. However occasionally I'm with a friend who has a package to pick up.Still the same attitude. The employees act as if they're in a position of athority for some strange reason. They speak to you as if they're doing you some huge favor or as if you're doing something wrong. I suppose this arrogant mentality may stem from a time when there weren't any other options for a business that would receive a package for a customer in town.If you're someone who makes their way into Sault Ste. Marie Michigan to shop and pickup a package or two, do yourself a favor. Go elsewhere. It will save you time, and a headache. There are better choices closer to the Walmart area.
