Radius Retreat

Last weekend was our second time visiting the yurts. Both times we had a great time there with my husband and kids. We love the way the yurts are built near to the Nature far away from the city life.This time we found the watering hole and showers were completely ready to use. Two years ago, these were in process of being built. The watering hole is small but very beautiful to sit around. We stayed two night at the den , had our meals prepared and enjoyed our time together both outdoors and indoors. My husband and I really love being in the nature and spending quality time without having any technology around.I think it’s a nice getaway from the stressful life and enjoying peaceful surroundings. And it’s not that far from Alberta. We would love to come back again.

We stayed at The Burrow yurt and it was lovely! It looked exactly like the pictures/videos on their website and it was incredibly user friendly to book our stay! In fact it was because of the videos on the website touring the yurts that made us want to look more into it as it really piqued our interest. It was a lovely experience because we had our bbq and fire pit at the back of the yurt so despite being able to see the Hollow from the front, it still felt like a private camp ground. Definitely bring some power banks to keep your phones charged! It's right off of the roundabout heading north towards Golden so its nice having your phone to navigate and enjoy Radium and the surrounding areas.I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat! It's fantastic for people interested in enjoying the great outdoors but still wanting to be close to a city with wonderful places to eat, and a very comfy mattress to sleep on! They created such a well written handbook that explains everything you need to know about Radius retreat and has some excellent activity and food recommendations. So you know you're in good hands with them!The only things that I would nit pick about our stay is to be alert and pay attention to where the road turn off is to access the gates as it's only 2 km north of the roundabout and its easy to miss the first time as the Radius retreat sign is a little tucked in so it could be easily missed while looking at the GPS.Came back to book the Burrow again in 2023! They added signs to both bear boxes and had another great stay. Until next time!

Had an amazing weekend here. The Yurts are lovely. So spaces it you don't run into anyone else. We stayed in The Grove and it had the best views. Units were spotless and they came with plenty of firewood. The bathrooms were much better than we anticipated. Definitely planning to go back

Really nice location, we went for my bachelorette and had a great time. The entire facility is really well maintained. The trails are excellent. The watering hole feature is really cool, very relaxing. Yurt was great, we stayed in The Den". Wood was all very dry

Wow, it was better than we had hoped it would be! Beautiful views, yurts are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We picked the Nest yurt and it was 200 meters of elevation gain over 2.2 km. Worth it to be at a high point for the views. Definitely recommend.

If you're looking for a great glamping, eco-reserve, get-away... this is it! It's the ultimate self-isolation during COVID times and they're OPEN! The yurts are well maintained and far enough from others that it is peacefully quiet. It is so warm with an indoor stove even in cold weather. The out-house uses wood chips for vermiculture composting. Fire-starter, stove, and mattresses are all provided, along with all the fire wood you could burn. Each yurt has a different hike up so some are great for kids and others are better for seasoned hikers as everything must be carried in/out (including your recycling and garbage). It's a 2 minute drive to Radium and a 15 minute drive to Invermere. Staff are very responsive to emails and ensure the stay is safe and comfortable. I'd highly recommend checking this place out. We had a blast... TWICE!

Absolutely love this place. Amazing hiking, beautiful secluded yurts that are extremely clean and super comfortable beds. My dogs all approve and we can't wait to go back. Definitely check this place out on your next adventure.

Amazing place to stay! My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights over May long weekend with our dog and had the best time. We stayed at The Hill, which was the perfect amount of hike for us. It was nice to have a cozy place to hide away from the rain, and a firepit and trails to explore when the weather cleared up. We definitely packed heavier than we would for normal" backpacking

Absolutely beautiful place! Immaculate property, very peaceful and private. It’s really a nature retreat if you want to isolate yourself from the rest of the world but it’s still a quick drive to Radium if you want to try the restaurants and soak yourself in the amazing hot springs! Can’t wait to go back!

If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and actually have peace and quiet off the grid experience this is it, stayed in the Hill and loved it, only advice I can give is don't make the mistake I made and packed way too much stuff, it's a hike but you will love it
