Time Top

Een leuk kunstwerk, champion of ufo spaceship wie weet. Het maakt deel uit van de waterfront wandeling die langst de waterkant loopt.

Canadian artist Jeremy Pethick explored the possibilities of perception and alternative reality through collages, sculpture, assemblage, and holography. Time Top was inspired by the Brick Bradford comic strip and was near completion when Jeremy passed away in 2003. Fortunately, a team lead by Jeremy's wife managed to bring his dream to reality. The first step was to submerge the large sculpture in the ocean and start the process of accretion. This was done by electrically charging the sculpture to attract mollusks and mineral deposits. In 2006, the silicon bronze sculpture was moved from Gibson to the edges of Copper Park in False Creek ,Vancouver.Jeremy Pethick 1935/2003
