New library and friendly staff. Separate section for kids where noise is not frowned upon.

I remember the old rec center and library, it was so outdated. They've finally made this into a facility that's worthy of Terry Fox.

One of the cleanest and family oriented community centers I have visited so far. They are offering good number of activities and programs for different age groups. I also have used their gym facility which is located in two floors. The first floor gym lacks in equipment variety but the second floor makes a good addition to it.

My son and I go here often and love the space. However, I just went in today and was feeling a bit spaced out from anxiety, trying to print some documents that had given me problems on the computer, and I was taken aback by the demeanor of a female staff member named D-. I was clearly lost and she seemed very impatient. I didnt experience her as being warm at all and I felt like she was almost talking down to me. I was clarifying at the end that I didn't need to do anything on my end anymore to print the documents and she kind of snapped at me, as if I was demanding she hurry or something. I just needed to know what to do next, there was no hint of impatience or aggression in my voice, but yet, her tone and facial expression in response to me was like she was reprimanding a child.I've worked in customer service for over a decade, some time of it was spent at a library too. I get we all have bad days and I may have caught her on one. I'm not posting this to get anyone in trouble. However, there may need to be further training or support offered to employees at this library, as interactions like the one I had today are preventable and could have, under different circumstances, escalated conflict. There is such diversity among patrons, as the library is a community hub. If this kind of attitude and approach is adopted by staff when dealing with individuals who are under stress, suffer from trauma or mental illness, addictions, or those who have been in contact with the criminal justice system...it might be antagonistic, or at least, will succeed in making people leave feeling bad about themselves. Just my thoughts.

Great library, love the extended hours. New location conveniently inside a rec centre building and finally has lots of parking.

As always our library staff run a good ship! So nice to get back into the library to pick our own books again. Used the ebook set up for 3 months. Good but still prefer the book in hand. Stay safe all the staff.

Great place to relax or to get the kids to read and learn.Staff is always helpful.I think this library could be bigger.

The kids' section is downstairs, so if your child isn't quiet, you don't need to feel uncomfortable. They have some tablet games the kids can borrow while in the library, a great selection of picture books for you kids. My family like the take-home crafts they sometimes put out.
