We had trouble to reach them but the owner wrote on the Google review that he had heart surgery, thus I can't expect anything less. Hopefully we'll be able to do business soon because i really want to encourage local.

I used this company for an ant infestation and wasp nest last year. Service from Marie-Soleil was quick, professional and effective. I have no complaints and will definitely call again if we have problems again. I also called them this year because of squirrels in the attic--again, quick, knowledgeable and professional service, from Mario. Would definitely recommend.

A HUGE thank you to Michel for personally coming to my house today to deal with our ant problem. Despite being inundated with calls he made the time to come, explaining what he was doing and showing me where he was spraying. I am much more at ease and that's all thanks to him. For the first time as a homeowner, I had a pest control problem. This was definitely NOT a “ do it yourself” scenario. I needed the professionals! I had never called for this type of service before so, I did what many people who need help do, I “googled” a pest control service in Gatineau. Extermination Pro- Tech came up with top ratings, so I made a call. Martin, the Pro-Tech associate, came to inspect the problem the same day I called and I was pleased with how upfront about the process he was. He thoroughly explained the strategies involved to solve my pest problem and he was open about discussing the price.I instantly felt reassured by his knowledge and with the time efficient manner in which I could secure a date for the service call. Martin returned as promised, two days later exactly as planned with an assistant and specialized equipment to aid in my issue. He did exactly what he said he’d do in a very short time as I sat back and relaxed and voila, problem solved! This was a nest infestation issue that I would never have been able to solve without his attention to detail and specialized support. I feel happy that the problem is solved and am 100% satisfied with this service! I was made aware by my awesome neighbor, birds were flying in/out of my bathroom vent duck. I called Pro-tech Extermination and within 3 business days, Mario and his wife, inspected my attic, clean the air duck, removed the bird’s nest and replaced my exhaust cap.Professional and courteous. I called them for a mouse and racoon problem. They got rid of the racoon, but the patch the put in the soffit left a massive hole for mice to go in/out. This was after the owner of the company quoted me a discount (as the 1st company I hired didn't do the job). I insisted it wasn't their fault and that I'd pay the $400. On the day they showed up, the price went up to $500 and then they categorically refused to address the mouse issue I had hired them for.The owner of the company was disrespectful and I had to hire a 3rd company to come and re-do the repair job that Pro-Tech did.Why hire these guys? You'll just have to hire someone else to come fix it again after. The 3rd company I called came by and sealed up the house, placed traps and gave me a 6 month warranty on the mice.

I've used ProTech twice in the last two years and will continue to use them. Here's why:1) We live in the bush. Mice, ants, snakes, wasps...you name it, we've got it in spades!2) They are very responsive. Both times, I've called, they were here within days! They are a very small company; 3 guys! And there are lots of bugs and rodents out there!3) Each time they've been here, they (Mario and Antoine) were professional, but more than that, they were personable.4) Both times, they went above and beyond. They took care of problems, I didn't even know I had!Merci encore!

The job not only got done with expert level precision, but what stood out the most was the customer service I reveiced. From the moment Antoine stepped foot on my property he was not only informative and knowledgeable, but he understood fundamentals of client care. Since Covid hit we have been asked to keep a distance from everyone and by doing so we have lost a sense of kindness and sincerity, it was so refreshing to have Antoine take time to just connect with me prior to leaving. Mario is a very capable and attentive professional. I had a mouse problem and not they set the box mouse traps in the house basement ceiling and attic. In addition he also investigated the outside of my house and found and fixed some external water pipes and ventilation covers that needed caulking. They also installed additional wire cage covers on the exposed vent openings at no extra cost. That is superb service above expectations.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Marc from Pro-Tech this weekend. He was extremely professional and patient. He took the time to explain what his findings were in the attic and answered all my questions. It was refreshing to deal with a company and an employee that had my best interest at heart.
