The halal scene is by and large dominated by re-creating the best and brightest of our culinary experiences in other places. Curryer has for the first time in Canada for me really attempted something original with their fusion brunch. First up they have all the original options the nihari, the Halwa Puri the chole bathurey. Some of our party had tried some of these options and weren't thrilled. The nihari I did have has moved towards their lamb shank option and is now NOT as good as it used to be. They also have some creative drinks but the price point for them is astronomical. The chai wasn't too impressive either. If you have been with me so far, let's talk about the fusion food. There are bowls and Benedicts that combine chicken tikka OR pulled nihari meat with poached eggs with accompaniments of both sides. The chicken tikka bowl and Benedict were both really good and the flavour profile did work. The nihari hash bowl unfortunately with 2 types of onions, raw tomatoes and hash browns had crossed over into 'chaat' territory. They were really busy but food still came out really fast. No one asks you how you want your eggs poached and they come out soft.if you want medium or hard please do let them know explicitly. The place still has culture but does now need a thorough clean and some Reno after the few years it's been in operation.Do go and try, where else are you gonna do a nihari hash or a tikka benedict.

I had never had Pakistani food and we LOVED this place! Was so authentic and a wonderful friendly ambiance with fun and lovely Pakistani inspired modern decor and the food was AMAZING! I will go out if my way to go again. To boot it is LOCAL FAMILY OWNED by a lovely young couple! He cooks and she is the MOST LOVELY HOST! The special hot and cold drinks were a wonderful experience and I loved how Nageenah explained the foods and drinks. She was so nice and made the whole dining experience not only delicious but fun!

After long waiting, finally I was able to check this place out. It’s situated at the busy belt line area. Not too busy today, as it was the Monday after Canada Day and many downtown offices might be closed but people were coming in.We ordered peshwari channay which was made with chickpeas and came with a naan and one portion of rice. We had to order a chicken biriyani because, why not and ordered rabri doodh made with Cardamom + saffron milk steamer withsugar, pistachios + almonds with out any Caffeine.Everything was brilliant, our drinks we ordered initially came at the end which was a hiccup but all in all, it was a fantastic experience. Definitely be visiting again!!!

I was craving this and I didn’t know this is what I was craving till I had it. The servers were also helpful in recommending what dishes to order and we were not disappointed. The location is also great for night out downtown. It has its own unique light look that I really loved too. Would recommend!

Amazing food! Butter chicken that I cannot stop thinking about, with a great level of spice and so much flavor! Has just the right amount of sauce for the rice provided, such a satisfying meal. Also had the Rooh Afsa soda which was sweet and refreshing. Such friendly service and enough food for dinner the next day! Thank you!

Ambiance ✅ Host vibes ✅ service ✅ quality of ingredients ✅ 3 stars because North Indian butter chicken is the correct and proper way. Bit too Shan Masala/tomato pasty for me.don’t get me wrong. It’s a quality restaurant. This is purely personal preference. The aesthetic is beautiful.

Owned by the sweetest couple ever!Stopped by on a whim here with my partner and we both ordered the Butter Chicken with Garlic Naan. The Naan was flavourful, and HUGE! The Butter Chicken itself tasted traditional but unique at the same time. Upon first glance I didn’t think I would get full off of just one dish but I underestimated how filling it actually was! Bonus points for that :)I got to speak with one of the owners about her and her husbands journey on opening the Curryer and she is such an incredibly sweet lady who went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed.
