Sun Yat-Sen Park
The park is a nice place to visit if you are visiting Chinatown in Vancouver. The ancient garden is well kept and represents the architectural heritage of a traditional garden in the southern part of China.

Sun Yat-Sen Park
Super chill place. Very calming. $16 for an adult entrance isn't bad. Staff are really knowledgeable. Complimentary Chinese tea on every wall through. Neat garden located in the heart of the Vancouver downtown east side. You'll most likely have some encounter or run in with the homeless community in the area, so go during the day, go with friends or family, and don't leave anything exposed in your vehicle when you park.

I love this park for how beautiful it is in all weather. Not sure if anything has changed after COVID.This park belongs to the city and there's no fees to enter unlike the other part of this same estate which is a museum and has entrance fees. I believe you even have to book a time for that one.

There is a free chinese-inspired garden which can be enjoyed. We did enjoy the visit. It could do with some attention but it's lovely none the less. Next door is the paid classical garden which is presumably more maintained.

The park is free to visit and is beautiful. It's a Chinese garden with lots of trees, benches and water. I visited at the end of March and it seemed to be a good lunch spot for the neighborhood.
