Super 8 by Wyndham Swift Current

The rooms are always clean and up to par for the price range. On this particular visit, Mike provided commendable service, helping us deal with a difficult patron. His professional demeanour and smile definitely made this a five star stay.Good work Mike! We appreciate you.

There was a used Christmas napkin on the floor. The sidewalk to our room was snow-covered. When I went up in the morning to get coffee in my travel mug I got less than half a cup. When i tried the other carafe, it was empty. There were 3 people sitting and visiting in the lobby and at least one was a staff member. When I got back to my room, the little bit of coffee I did get was cold. I will never stay here again.

Very polite and friendly staff. The rooms aren't anything special but they aren't that bad either. The bed is pretty comfortable and there's a decent sized TV. Bathroom is quite small but recently renovated. Tiny little toilet. The internet is sub par at best. It doesn't really cover the size of the hotel and if you need to stream video or broadcast to a zoom meeting, forget it. I do like being able to pull up to the room though. Which is pretty lucky considering they don't have an elevator.

A comfortable bed is the most important factor when rating a hotel room and this place had that. The bed was very comfortable. However, the carpet was very old, damaged and discolored (it looked dirty). The whole place was pretty tired and bordering on shabby. Yhe lock on the door was stuck and we had to go back to the front desk to elicit help to get into our room. The key worked only intermittently and the 6 inches of snow on the sidewalk was not shoveled. The breakfast was terrible. Cold cereal, yogurt, and sub standard cello-wrapped muffins. The coffee was good but weak. We were told we were not allowed" in the breakfast room because it was reserved for CP employees only. We will definitely try a different place on our next trip through Swift Current."

It was fine. The staff seemed reasonable, but the pool and hottub was closed which wasn’t stated anywhere on any website.The rooms had little bugs flying around, and flies on the windowsill. The door to the outside didn’t work. You can hear everything in that hotel, in the middle of the night I heard showers, keys, children.. and the shower towels were stained with blood. The fridge wasn’t cold and the food we put in there was still room temperature by the morning. There was only shampoo and a used bar of soap for shower amentities.

Rooms had hair everywhere, beds, bathroom. The breakfast is a joke, as it's just a table. The front desk lady when checking in was rude and not helpful, she should find a new job. And let's be honest, the pool and hot tub will never be open. I will never stay there again. Room 119 is haunted.

Must have been worst hotel or motel I have been at ever.Free breakfast was dry stuff on a foldable table in the hallway. If you wanted to eat you had to take it to your room.Speaking of rooms; it was clean, but antiquated, the keys never worked on the entrance doors and assistance was required.The floors creaked when walked upon and you heard the entire conversation from the next room, where the guy was on his phone.There is a swimming pool, but it has been closed for maintenance for three (3) years. Supposedly, they need a safety permit, or something similar.The CPR has taken over the old breakfast room and no one can enter thete, thus meal in the hall, etc. etc. etc.Don't Stay There

Good place to stay while you are on the highway. Definitely worth the money and I got a good sleep. Just the rooms are not sound proof . You might hear everything happening in the hallway .

Staff was incredibly rude upon arrival at 8pm. Had to get key redone at 12:30 am as well which is fine but the desk clerk was very rude (a different one). Room was ok but really run down and musty. Breakfast was a joke and I went out to eat each morning. Was not as advertised. I have stayed before the railroad contract and it seems to have gone downhill fast. Will spend 20 dollars more and stay at the holiday inn from now on.
