We hired Beacon Bright to move the contents of a friend’s 1-BDRM apartment into storage. I’m so glad we utilized their services! Lily, Bobby, and another fellow made a super team -pleasant, professional, and kind. We got incredible value for our money! Lily co-ordinated and communicated very well with us, easing our minds and taking care of things so we could just relax. We felt we were in good hands. Here is an example of where they went above and beyond - even though we had been quoted a fixed rate, they detoured out of their way to deliver a bookshelf to another residence for us. Beacon Bright moved a Peloton Treadmill and a king size adjustable bed for us and they provided a careful and helpful move. Out of the 4 companies I called to get a quote, Lily was the only one to arrange a look at my belongings. Her quote was detailed and no surprise additional costs. They arrived on time, she supervised the loading and Bob offered to fix my 100 yr old Deacon's bench leg. Broken on my last move. All belongings were packed with care. They navigated the ferry to Nanaimo and even set up my bedroom. The Deacon bench leg repair was incredible. I highly recommend them, they are worth every penny.

Very disappointed. Lily was difficult to deal with. Price was too high for the kind of mid-level service they provide (vs the high-end service they promised). Would not hire again.

I can't overstate my moving experience with this company. Let's face it moving sucks - but from my 1st contact with Lily and Bobby to the after move service they have been first class. I had checked around with other companies but none matched the hands on approach of Beacon Bright and the result was all my items arrived at the new apartment safely. I had never dealt with a team that had such a 'can do' attitude - even above and beyond the scope of the quotation. Beacon Movers were careful and kind throughout our move. They responded to questions by text (even on a stat holiday before the move). The took care of all the fragile stuff on the walls (pictures and TV). They were friendly with our son who was keen to learn all about the big moving truck. Thank you.

From my initial phone call with Lily, the Senior Coordinator she provided me the confirmation of my preferred moving date and time, hourly rates and details for my move. Movers arrived on time and Lily was also on site at the pick up and new location. The movers were courteous, personable and made sure all our needs were met. They took great care and upon arrival at new location moved all furniture and boxes seamlessly and within the expected time.
