Alright burnaby fam, let's blow up this restaurant, they have been here 30 years, and honestly the food is amazing. Kelly our server is also amazing. Surprised that its 8 pm they are not busy today. Please show some love for this place ❤️

Pretty decent foodI might go again now that I know there's parking in the rear and to ask for reduced salt.My wife's gnocchi was salt insanity, almost like they hated we ordered her meal.Service was very friendly and restaurant was tidy, bathrooms were a mess.

Great spot for Italian food with a lot of options and so far all we've tried were really good. Staff was also super friendly.Pastas we had were really good and highly recommend. We had the spinach-cheese tortellini, lasagna and a custom beef ravioli with the four cheese sauce. I normally would like the lasagna the most but, the tortellini pasta definitely was the best one we had. The spinach-cheese filling on those were really good. I would have preferred baked lasagna but, this was also pretty good. A lot of sauce on this and makes each bite very tasty. For the beef ravioli, could not taste much of the beef but, four cheese flavour sauce was what made this dish.We also had the chicken souvlaki platter. Only tried thw chicken for this but, it was tender and still juicy. Pita bread was very soft and yummy as well.Appetizer was calamari. Nice amount of strong onions and great tzatziki sauce. What more to ask for.The dessert we tried was a filo wrapped cheesecake. This you have to try. Its a different take on cheesecake and absolutely loved it. Served warm with a crunchy filo wrapper and surrounded with cream and some chocolate sauce. The cheesecake was very smooth and creamy and not too sweet at all. This was probably one of my favorite items.Would love to come back another time and try their other items.

Best Roast lamb out there. Lots of delicious pasta choices! Very friendly. A little older but the food is so good. The hot chicken salad is one of the best dishes I've had.

A lovely place to have a quiet dinner. The sauce on pasta definitely was freshly made, quite delicious. And the pasta was handmade too, cooked to the right texture not mushy at all. Hubby had lamb shoulder and happy at his dish. Karamari was crispy outside and tender inside, and very fresh. The staff was friendly. We were full so didn't try dessert, this will be next time. By the way, I love those paintings on the walls.

I hat to post a negative review but Amorosa served not only the worst Italian food I have ever eaten but it was the worst restaurant meal I have have ever ordered. Three entrees and stale bread for $75.00 plus tip went straight to the garbage. Save your money go elsewhere.

Ordered the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo pasta last week.. Good portion size... However...There was barely any chicken in the pasta.. pasta was just noodles.. sauce.. some spinach and mushrooms.. very bland tasting and barely any pieces of chicken.I was disappointed and had better Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo pasta at Whitespot, Anducci's and Pasta Polo... usually they give an entire chicken breasts worth of chicken and a little more giving enough protein to make you feel full.

Between service and food, the service wins by far. Foodwise you get what you pay for, but not exactly fine dining. Rather than say the salt was heavy handed it was the only thing I could taste about the soup. The pastas had good sauces albiet a bit too much; it tended to pool at the bottom of the dish. I typically like my pasta, noodles or rice on the softer side so the overcooked pasta was not at all off putting for me but not the al dente most look for. my favorite was the calamari which was crispy light and airy.

Pasta was excellent, it tasted fresh and the sauce was quite creamy.Portion size was just enough, not bad but it wasn't huge either. I ordered a size of scallops but they were whole scallops sliced thin which was disappointing.Calamari was excellent, done just right.

We were a large party of 11 women and the waitress was wonderful. One error was made with an order but she made certain it was corrected to satisfaction. Always delicious food and large portions highly recommend for small intimate meals and also large gatherings - make a reservation for a larger group!I had a large plate of pasta, dessert and shared a bottle of wine and an appies.
