Budapest Restaurant in London was my first true initiation into the world of traditional Hungarian cuisine and it was a great first experience!My wife and I enjoyed our date night immensely. We had a chicken schnitzel sandwich, perogies, beef stroganoff, and a strawberry crepe to finish it off.The food was delicious, the service great, and the atmosphere excellent. If you're searching for some tasty traditional Hungarian food in London, Ontario, then you need to check out Budapest Restaurant for yourself!

Love love love this place... we have been coming here for years and the food and service is still as good as the first time we came.. as is the decor which is very outdated and perfect! They even have live music playing on weekends and special occasions..If you like authentic Hungarian food.. made fresh on the premises then you'll love this place.. goulash, schnitzel, sauerkraut, sausage, duck, veal, pork chops etc etc etc.. all made fresh on the premises in authentic Hungarian style..Even the buns, biscuits and cookies are home made...Highly recommend this place..

As a fellow Hungarian, this restaurant does us proud. Great food, lots of options and well priced. Nice and friendly staff. We planned a surprise dinner for my mom and it went very well. We were well catered to and can’t wait to go back. Definitely must visit if you’re in the area!

The most relaxing and family feeling atmosphere we’ve had in ages. The food (Hungarian platter) was absolutely decadent. The server Quinton, was so friendly and kind. Loved the musicians, they had my girlfriend in tears it was so beautiful. Thank you! 10 stars from us’

We had the most amazing meal, excellent ambiance and food and cocktails were made to well but the staff. Would reccomend this place to anyone looking for a great evening and conversation. So beautiful and amazing cultural vibes.

Authentic Hungarian cuisine, friendly atmosphere and excellent service. They offer a great selection of the best and most well-known Hungarian dishes, wines and the famous Pálinka (fruit brandy). All meals are prepared from fresh, local ingredients.With a tradition of more than 60 years, Budapest Restaurant is one of London's favorite places for lunch, dinner and takeout. Highly recommended!

My guest is from Hungary. We both loved the atmosphere, it is like being in Budapest. The food is excellent quality and authentic without question. This is not the Canadian fare some are used to. It's exactly how Hungarian food should taste. Exception sangria, chicken paprikash, goulash, sausage, cabbage and schnitzel, get chicken schnitzel. Do not miss out on nokedli (noodles). This incredible restaurant should be a protected Hungarian landmark in our opinion.
