Consistently one of the worst grocery stores in Montreal. The place is almost always a mess, it's often sold out of basics or has items without prices indicated. We stopped buying meat here because of how often it was off and most of the staff is rude or inattentive. The only reason we shop here at all is because it's walking distance and open late. If you have the time, you're better off to go elsewhere. One time the manager served us at the cash, he was friendly and quick.

I went today and look for it, hard. Apparently the employee in Maxi told me that this Provigo is now MAXI. Leaving a review here so in case you want to go specifically for a Provigo, don't waste your time trying to find this branch.

Clean, well stocked and modern store. That said, Provigo is much more expensive than IGA so take note.

I love it when they repurpose an old landmark (Canadian Pacific railroad building) and keep all its glory. Like the other Provigo I reviewed it is big, bold and full of charm. Not as great of a pressed juice selection but I am guessing it’s has to do with demand. All and all a pleasant experience.

Great supermarket with wide spacious aisles. There is a wide assortment of organic fruits, vegetables, dairy and other products. Also a lot of ethnic foods available; Caribbean, middle eastern, Chinese and others. There is a bakery with fresh breads, a pastry shop with amazing and reasonably priced pastry, a charcuterie and also a butcher and a fishmonger. There is a canteen for take-out or dine-in meals such as fish and chips, chicken wings, pizza, pasta and other fare. There is a sushi bar, a salad and juice bar and even a small section in the front for quick trips to stock up on eggs, butter etc. There is also underground parking which is great during winter and when it’s raining; it is also right by a metro station and several bus stops outside. All in all, a great location and a great supermarket. Staff are friendly and helpful and there are lots of stations for self check-out. PC points programme is outstanding, especially when combined with a PC MasterCard.
