Had Mitch come out in April to do a walk around of the fence we needed. He actually showed up where some other places said we are too far out.(20 minutes for stony). He had the quote to me within a day. The frost was still in the ground so we stayed in touch waiting for the start date. Finally we were able to get it done as the weather was ready and they had an opening. Mitch figured 3 days to have it all done. 220 feet of wood fence 6 foot tall. His crew of 4 were nice guys and understood the reason for the fence (neighbour issues) . They handled it very professional. They had their music on and worked hard. On day one they had all the posts in and cemented in. Day two they showed up and got right to work and by 7:30 they were gone with us having a finished product. It was great they asked my opinion on the fence to make sure it was done to my liking. Mitch and I agreed on the price and he stood behind it even with the lumber cost going up. He was understanding of the situation and was glad to help out. We are happy and its only hours into having it completed. When it comes to contractors communication and honesty is what is needed and Mitch had that. Great work all around. I am now trying to get him some more work as neighbours of mine are saying how nice it look.

Had chainlink replaced with a wood fence. I was nervous about my already established garden and Mitch was sure to get it done before my plants came up. The crew was great and did a fabulous job! I have a beautiful fence and they did a great job of cleaning up. Would definetly recommend.

Me and my Dad called Mitch to repair a post and panel that was knocked down this summer due to wind, he said he was just coming off a vacation trip and he was pretty swamped, but that he'd give me a call back and come look into our fence, giving the benefit of the doubt we gave him about a week and a half and he forgot about us, so when I called he came in immediately, he came gave us a quote and said that he or his foreman can come fix it in the next couple weeks, its been a month now and neither he or his foreman have come to fix it let alone give us a call to schedule a day to fix it, when we try calling mitch he ignores the call right away, we were extremely polite and were willing to pay what he asks for the repair, absolutely terrible service.

Couldn't be happier with our new fence! Mitch and the crew at Viking Fence provided prompt, professional and clean service. Communication was clear and concise, and the price was definitely the best around! Highly recommend these guys! Would gladly use them again!

Viking built us an amazing fence 4 years ago...it is still solid and will be forever I am certain. This is no ordinary fence as the posts are larger than standard and it is heavily reinforced on the top, bottom, and middle. They were fast and used good quality materials with still no warping present. We have two great danes with the larger being over 200lbs and he can jump on it with no observed movement!!! Also - the auto close spring/latches and adjustable hinges on the gate is such a nice touch - no need to worry if you have closed the gate! Best fence ever!!!

We had Mitch install a chain link fence with two gate around our house in Stony Plain. The entire fence went up quickly and was all completed in a few days. He was on time and the fence is straight and solid. He is and owner operator so he is busy which makes it difficult to contact him. Some patients is needed.

My neighbors and I had Mitch come to build our fences. We put down our deposit and when the work was done we paid the balance. I was not happy with some of the boards her used on my side of the fence. There was rot and large knots that had eventually come out leaving holes in my fence. There were also a couple boards with large worm hole and one the had a very large split with a section sticking out. I sent Mitch a few emails asking him to come and have a look. He finally came a few months later and marked the boards that needed to be replaced and said he would be back to replace them before the snow was here to stay. This was October 2018. He has still not returned or answered any of the 5 emails I sent him asking if he was coming back. My nextdoor neighbor had a double gate installed in his back yard and they put the latch on the wrong side of the gate. He couldn't open it from his back yard but people in the back alley could! Would not recommend this company to anyone!
