MaxSold Downsizing and Estate Sales

I can find items I've been looking for at a location nearby, often at an extremely low or reasonable price, without having to attend a live auction. I can do it from the comfort of my home, just needing to venture out when I pick up my finds". The process has been easy

Don’t hire this company if you care about your neighborhood or community at all. We live beside a sale they were running and they advertised our parking spaces as public on a Sunday afternoon. Our entire parking area was overrun with pickups and rude people blocking residents from entering or exiting all day. When I approached the person in the red vest to stop telling people they can park in our spots I was rudely dismissed and told to call the police. I then called the company who pretended to care and never followed up. Terrible business practice and the employee who was controlling everything was so awful, I would never feel comfortable with them in my home.

Leslie is MY GIRL!! Shes at most of the pick ups I go to & has always been super helpful & nice. Just great all round.

For months they have had technical issues where the customer's geographical search area does not hold . Very frustrating using the site . They keep saying that they are working to fix it but no remedy is looming . If this company can't fix a simple issue like this , it makes one wonder about their competence and efficiency

not happy with Maxsold. bought the bike that had mechanical problems. only found out about them when brought it home. was refused in refund with excuse that I had to show the issues at pick up location. was overcharged with premium fee. no way to choose the day convenient for me, only the day they tell you. so say goodbye to either your purchase or the plans for that day. I would not buy from Maxsold auction again. The frame damage was hidden under the price tag. Only saw it at home. Was given the wrong address. Arrived to address and it turned out to be another unit 2 doors down the road.

Item was as discribed. Helpful at the location for pickup and helped load it on my car.Word of caution though. The item i bid on was at $40 when I put my bid in (max $500). It quickly jumped to $75, as I guess ai took out someone elses max bid. Bids stayed stagnant for 2 days. Then, with one hour left, my bid was run up to exactly $500. Seems suspicious to me. Probably not a good idea to use their max bid process, thought they would be more ethical.

So frustrating!Person who called us at the outset was sure they could sell everything". We didn't have a ton to sell (most of it did go)

In general, the site is good and well organized. But be careful as they will happily take your money and not provide you with an alternative pickup if for any reason you miss your original pick up date. There’s no refunds or place where you can pick up your items.

I have purchased items from MaxSold and have had a great experience everytime. The process is seamless. You bid and pay online, they send you the receipt and docs to pic up your items, you pick up your items from the pickup spot at the arranged time...that's it! Customer service is great, as well, they are quick at reaponding, the are professional and friendly. I am very impressed and look forward to using their services again.
