Where to start ... Frederick is such a genuine and transparent person. He will take his time to explain the diagnosis, exactly what can be done to solve the issue and he will not cut corners because he wants his customers to receive the most honest and best service possible. My 2017 macbook pro with touchbar developed what is colloquially called a ''Flexgate'' where the screen starts flickering because of the development of microtears on the screen connector. Frederick explained exactly what caused the symptoms. He was honest and 100% transparent about the repair. He proposed to try, him and his technicians, to weld the microtears because it would be less costly for me. He could have easily told me that the only solution is to change the screen, making the fix a lot easier and more ''profitable'' for him. In the end it costed me a fraction of what apple quoted me. He even proposed to lend me another laptop for the duration of the repair and he personally delivered my macbook on a weekend! I'm just a random guy on the internet but trust me when I say that I don't write reviews very often, this is my second review ever written. I only review if the service is truly excellent. I dropped off my daughters computer about a week ago. Stupidly I did not get a receipt for service, nor was I offered one. the guy who I left the computer with said he would contact her with a quote. To be fair, my daughter did receive an email with a quote, though she did not see it and decided to call several days after I had left the computer. We got worried when our call were not returned so we decided to drop by, no answer by phone or door. We finally got a response to our messages (it took about 3 days) so we are hoping for the best. Update: the technician offered to lend my daughter a computer while he completed the repairs and her computer was fixed to her satisfaction.

Not sure where all the positive reviews are coming from. We brought our desktop November 2021 for repair and have received no contact from this place. We are now April 2022. We've called multiple times for a follow up and received the same answer; we'll get back to you. But no one ever does! Did they sell or keep our desktop? 5 months with no contact seems unreasonable.

I managed to spill borscht (sticky, greasy, and acidic - quite the winning combo) all over my work MacBook. Fred and his technicians carefully looked over and tested all the parts, then did the repairs quickly and effectively, even though multiple components had been affected by the spill. I needed a hard drive replacement in my MacBook Air ASAP. Frederick is a super understanding guy and was able to get the new hard drive in and OS Booted by the next day. Knows what he’s doing and would happily go back if I needed another repair.

I got my Mac repaired by Frederick last year in October, and it still works today. I just forgot to write a review, lol. It did take a little while, but overall I'm very thankful as this computer was helpful to me during the school year.

One of my MacBook Pro keys had unglued from the keyboard, I still had the key. I walked into the store, and they were able to fix it on the spot! AND at a very decent price. It's been 2 months since the repair and I can say the job was excellent, it's like the issue never existed.

I was upsold on multiple services by this group.I came to them wanting to replace my Macbook Retina battery. After a new battery was installed, there was a new jangling sound when lifting/rotating my laptop, and, the battery percentage indicator no longer read accurately.I brought the computer back and they told me the indicator had nothing wrong with it, despite me telling/showing them it read 7% for hours on end before suddenly losing power. I was told I could pay for a full inspection of the computer to try to solve the issue. So I did. They told me they found nothing wrong, and nothing changed.At the same time, my speaker was blown-out on one side and they pushed me on changing it. I agreed. The newly installed speaker had an obviously raspy/quieter/poorer quality, which they would not admit, when we compared it directly with another working computer speaker.Every time they did repairs, they offered to lend me a slower and smaller computer at a very high rental cost per day.At the end of the exchanges, I repeatedly expressed strong dissatisfaction for everything that had happened. They offered me $50 back. I agreed and left.Two months later the newly installed speaker blew out completely and they did not respond to my messages about this.I should have moved on after the initial unsatisfactory battery replacement. I would have saved >500 dollars and a lot of time.

I had broke my MacBook Pro screen and was faced with quoted very high price points from probably every other repair shop in Montreal. The man I spoke with on the phone was very empathetic of the fact that i had just recently purchased the MacBook from an online seller and was very reasonable in the price point that he gave me. They also have the option to have your laptop picked up and delivered from your home which is extremely convenient and my laptop which was expected to be fixed in 2-3 days was actually fixed in 6 hours. 5 star service. The laptop had a minor scratch on thr cover so the company compensated me with a complimentary laptop cover, keyboard cover plus they added the 4 rubber feet on the bottom of the laptop which i never had originally. This company is not one of those companies jist trying to make a quick buck i trust there advise and will continue to bring my business to them. Thank you Apple Repair.
