I ordered churros for an event and they were so hard and definitely not fresh. I asked them to make smaller ones and they call me the day of the event to tell me they forgot to make it smaller. They were the worst churros all my guest agreed. So disappointed with the fact that they didn’t even make fresh ones and that fact that they lied saying they were even fresh. I had another friend who said she order for the same weekend And they were also very hard. She went to complained and they only gave her 50%refund. Never coming here again.

Ok, i know this place is not where Canadians with a non-latino heritage would go shopping, but hear me out. If you are in that group, please do not hesitate visiting this place. The butcher counter is to die for; really good quality meats, nice cuts that you cannot find just about anywhere (i'm talking to you, vacio and peceto), and it's very likely you are wound up to try a different cut that would not be usually served in your average north american butchery (and i assure you, you will like it). And, if you DO have latino background, what are you waiting for? this place has everything (quite literally; they even have powdered drinks like clight, tang and others, which we latinos know we cannot find anywhere else here in Ontario). They also have a bakery with baked goods, churros, alfajores, facturas, sandwiches de miga (tea sandwiches, tramezini), empanadas, tartas, you name it. It's ***BUSY***, especially on weekends, so go there with plenty of time. They speak english, so they will be able to help you if you don't speak spanish. Must try!

Not sure why this place has the rating it does. Maybe not as good as many years ago with the original owner but they still make some delicious and authentic things, must try the Argentinian sausage the closest recipe to authentic as I've found in Canada. Lots of Latin groceries and authentic sweets definitely check them out. Best of all prices clearly labeled which if you know these types of places isn't always the case.

Very happy with the rosted meat. Staff is dedicated and friendly, be prepared to wait as the place is popular. Recommend.
