This is a beautiful trail, my first time was in the winter in February. Very nice area to hike, just be very careful of the slippery sections, and perhaps consider using crampons for your boots.

We stopped to play the disc golf course, so I cannot comment on the trails, cottages or other amenities at Limberlost. But for disc golf, it was certainly a course with a lot of potential. Overall the course is very poorly sign-posted, but luckily UDisc has a website with a rough layout of the newer 18-hole course (although it is far from perfect and you have to wander a bit). The first hole starts along the trees by the parking lot, then the second hole climbs up the hill with the sculpture garden. Most of the rest of the front nine are in the woods on the back of the hill, before emerging out onto the grassy hill through hole 13. The remainder of the course makes its way out to the lake along flat grass, back towards the start.Overall there are a number of challenging holes with a lot of elevation. There is plenty of foliage so it can be hard to always easily find your disc. That said, holes 11 and 13 are probably the most difficult because if you get in the rough, your disc is more than likely gone.Unfortunately in July the course is infested with annoying mosquitos. The holes are largely well maintained, with championship disc catchers, although many of the tee pads could do with some upkeep. I'd certainly come back at a different time of year to play again.

A very beautiful park with some very nice trails around the various lakes in the Muskoka region. Free to enter. Some maps are posted outside the visitor hut to orient your chosen hikes/camping, etc. Camping is only available when reserved online as the gates shut at 5pm. I went in mid February and did hiking, but saw some people snowshoeing and cross country skiing as well.

5 stars for skiing. Free entrance. The trails are groomed and well maintained. Much less crowded then near by Arrowhead Provincial Park. The facilities are basic, I found only chemical toilets near the parking lots, but I didn't check the area near the office. The place is great for new and intermediate skiers. There are trail with gentle slops, up and downhill. The trail are inside the forested area and along the lakes. The views are great and picturesque.

It was my first time along with my family's visiting LimberLost this past Canada's day long weekend. We camped at lee lake and we had a very good first impression of the entire place. We enjoyed our camping here and would definitely be back as regular customers based on the experience we had. The staff were great. Earl was very helpful before and during our stay. Thank you Earl for making our experience great! We can’t wait to make more memories here and will be back soon! Cheers, Joseph & family.

Great staff. Amazing sites. Ranges from big to small, most of them are private as well. Roads are more suited for 4x4s or vehicles with bigger tires, as the road is more like a logging road. I enjoyed it personally. Once again. Staff was exceptional

Lots of trails well laid out winding around lakes and streams. A gift to the ppublic from those that own these 10,000 acres and 20 lakes. Free 365 days/year.We recently took the 6.2km loop trail around Solitaire Lake. Fairly easy going for most of it. One high ridge but what a view! Please, don't litter. This place is a gift and a privilege.

Wowowow! Why did I wait so long to go hike there? Buck Lake was magical, a beautiful easy winter hike that’s takes about 1-2h depending on how many stops/pictures you want to take. Can’t wait to come back for longer hikes!
