Lovely place, relaxed mountain vibe & includes continental breakfast. Comfy bed & whole place is clean. Loads of diverse pictures & art. Excellent sauna - heats quickly & can choose your own temperature. Pool table & games/consoles downstairs. Rack for drying boots overnight!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was so friendly and comfortable and the ski room was very convenient with boot dryers and everything! Although the rooms are pretty minimal and could probably use an upgrade (older carpet and mattresses although very clean) you won’t really need to spend much time in your room with the beautiful common area and ski hill just steps away. The dry sauna was very nice as was the hot tub for sore muscles!I felt that the owner and staff created a very positive environment for people to meet one another and chat.We would love to return in the near future!

Quirky. Likely a great choice for a group that wants a five to ten minute walk to the slopes. Funky.

Would highly recommend this spot to anyone!! Especially anyone intending to ski Red Mountain or Black Jack's. You can't really park any closer to Red Mountain - their parking lot is next door.Rams Head is a perfect atmosphere for those looking for the privacy and comfort of a nice room, while also providing an awesome fireplace common area and games room, sauna and got tub that you can enjoy with your own group of with others. Breakfast is a great time to meet the other skiersThe host, Martin, is excellent and serves a great breakfast. His lodge has plenty of character and will give you a feel for the history of Red Mountain. I know some of the photos look like the decor is a bit old, but it's clean and lifted and just adds to the character. I promise your bed will be comfortable and your room will feel like home.

This is such an awesome place to stay- truly a gem. The owner is very friendly, Mel the cat is full of love to share, and the place is full of personality. The outdoor hot tub was a fun treat. Breakfast was an added bonus. Overall a homey and welcoming feeling. Highly recommended!

What a great find. Very laid back and so close to the lifts. This is not a luxury hotel but it is an incredibly friendly environment. Everyone involved in running the inn were great and nothing was an issue.

This is an extremely special place! A lovely lodge with an incredible owner/host. A delicious breakfast with easy walking distance to the ski hill. The sauna was really enjoyable and overall such a unique stay. Thank you Martin!! We'll be back soon!!

Unique, rustic hotel with awesome retro decor creating a cozy environment to stay. Rooms were very comfortable and included a mini fridge. Incredibly quiet at night, which was great for early ski starts.

Awesome inn with a cozy feel and amazing host. The location is also excellent if you want to enjoy skiing at Red Mountain (short walk to lifts). I'm looking forward to coming back in the future.

Amazing spot right on the ski hill! We loved this place. The hot tub is super cool, the breakfast is delicious, and the people are so nice!! Extremely comfortable beds and cozy rooms. Also had a wonderful time on RED mountain. Will definitely stay here again!
