Excellent work! I called the evening of the day after Thanksgiving and Lou came out next day saw the issue with our MayTag refrigerator. Lou came early and replaced two parts in our fridge and made sure our floors were clean from the defrost/repair. I would highly recommend this company, very friendly, and good rates.

Mr.Lou came in to fix our dryer and found out our water heater was not working too. Both of them stopped working the same time and day. Mr Lou took time to check the water heater and recommended I call Nicor. Long story short Nicor had to change out meter and there was nothing wrong with the dryer and water heater . Proves that honesty and integrity is the utmost priority with Mr Lou. Would definitely recommend their services to my family and friends. I’d give TEN STARS. Thank you, Mr. Lou and more blessings!

Area Appliance came to my home and fixed my refrigerator and dryer, and it's been working great ever since. Haven't had any problems. Thank you to the man who gave me great service, Lou-- he wore a mask, gloves. He was vey professional and knowledgeable.

I am very happy with the service provided by Area Appliance Service. Our washing machine broke while we were out of town and Lou was able to coordinate with our housesitter and check out or machine before we even returned home. He was able to identify the problem quickly. Very friendly and prompt customer service. I will definitely use this company again in the future!

Lou is an absolute delight. My washing machine putzed out on me on a Saturday evening and he was able to come out to me on a Sunday morning. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was honest about whether it was worth a repair or going to get new machines. He could not have been more friendly, too, which is always a plus.Thank you, Lou!

I highly recommend Area Appliance Service for your appliance service/repair needs! I called them last night when my dryer decided to stop heating up, and Lou came out this afternoon and replaced the bad parts in less than an hour. He also checked my dryer vent to make sure it looked ok and explained a few other things to help me out. The pricing seemed very fair. Lou was really friendly and a pleasure to chat with and has definitely won over any future service calls I may need.

the oven in my relatively new whirlpool range (about 3-4 yrs) decided not to heat up on saturday afternoon just when i wanted to reheat my leftover pizza! i checked the internet for recommended approved repair service near des plaines and found Area Appliance to be well-reviewed and A+ rating with BBB. called Lou and explained the issue. he couldn't squeeze me in on sunday but it wasn't an emergency so we made an appt for monday morning. as he promised, he called 20 minutes ahead to let me know he was on the way & was right on time. the repair took about 30 minutes to replace the thermocouple and my hubby and i had a nice chat with him while he worked. he clearly knows appliances inside/out and we will call him for whatever breaks down next! highly recommend lou and area appliance service. i suggest you disregard the couple of negative reviews - let's just say some people are impossible to please.

Wish we had known about Area Appliance sooner! We would like to thank Lou for his EXCELLENT service! We called yesterday afternoon about our Whirlpool Dryer, and he came out this morning. We were impressed and pleased with every aspect of the job. He is prompt and personable, skilled and knowledgeable. With his expertise, he efficiently diagnosed our problem and made the repair. In addition, we truly feel the cost was fair and reasonable. We highly recommend him and will definitely use Area Appliance for any future appliance repair needs!!!

Called on 12/23 for a service, Lou came next day which was Christmas Eve morning, repaired my oven, what a wonderful gentlemen, he saved my day and I was able to have Christmas Dinner for my family. Thank you Lou!

Excellent experience. Showed up on time,masked,gloved and ready to go. He had the replacements parts that were needed.I watched as he worked in a clean and thoughtful manner.
