Gary's Appliance Repairs

My fridge control board burnt out and Gary replaced it for me. Hours later the freezer was barely cooling and the fridge was still room temperature. Gary came back and told me it would be too expensive to diagnose/fix and I was better off buying a new fridge. I called another repair man who was able to fix my fridge for me in 20-30 mins. Gary was also late for both our appointments despite telling him I had to leave at a certain time to go to work.

Very unreliable service. Gary came to my house to repair our fridge. He inspected and diagnosed the issue to be the 'change the mother board'. No warranty though. Alternative I pay him 60 buck for the visit. He promised that very high percentage the issue will resolve. He changed the broad for a cost $283 and fridge back to no cooling after a week. I will not call this man for any future issue and do not recommend him

Gary is truly outstanding !!!! fixed and repaired our dryer on spot, where another company said it would take 4 days to get the part. Gary has repaired a few appliances in our household over the years. great service,great man. Highly recommend him.... Thanks Gary

Gary is a nice guy, charges reasonable prices, but I'm not sure he is competent in what he's doing. I had a dishwasher problem a few months ago - dishes dirty after washing. Gary came in, took it apart, cleaned and charged about $100. Well, it worked for a week but then it broke again. With the help of youtube and internet guides, i took it apart and found that chopper assembly part has broken (chopper grinds the food into small particles) so food was always clogging the drain. Ordered the new chopper from PartSource, put it in, everything worked perfectly ever since. With Gary, $100 and a week wasted. Beware.

I live in a condo and one morning after I washed dishes overnight, superintendent came in saying there is a leak coming from my apartment. It appeared my dishwasher had a leak. I read reviews and decided to call Gary. When he came over, he diagnosed where a problem was, we agreed on price and then he proceeded with the fix. When he said the leak was repaired I asked him to test it in front of me and it appeared the dishwasher was not draining. Although,it had no problem with it neither the moment before he started his repair (he acknowledged the dishwasher WAS draining when he came in),nor just before i found out about the leak (it was working perfectly as i used it a night before). When I asked why it happened his response was YOU tell me!!" What???. Then he went on saying "I cannot tell you...things happen". He still charged for his service and left me with the broken dishwasher that is better to replace than spend money on fixing..I am not sure where these 5 star reviews come from

Gary was great, he couldn't have been nicer. We called for service on our dryer, he arrived within a couple hours and quickly diagnosed and fixed the dryer. The price was very reasonable.

Gary did a great job at a fair price! He fixed my apartment size washer and made sure he got to the root of the problem which took a little longer than anticipated, but didn't change his price. This type of service is hard to come by and I would recommend him with confidence.

I spoke to Gary on a Saturday night about my broken dryer, and he was over the next day to repair it. The dryer is stacked on top of a washer in a tight area, so he needed help bringing it down and putting it back together. Gary is extremely meticulous, carries spare parts for immediate repairs (I needed a new belt), and doesn't leave until the job is done. His prices are also extremely fair. I highly recommend him for your appliance repairs.

Gary came in to replace an oven light the same day. I know this is a small job, but he picked up the part and did the installation for us. He also took a look at the fridge and did a diagnosis on that light too. If it needs fixing, I will call Gary!

Those negative reviews that Gary received were properly individuals who don't know the definition of good service. Gary came to my house 5 times when I had problems with appliances, despite he was holding a charity event for his foundation. I bought a dishwasher, and unfortunately i installed it myself. Water was leaking everywhere and I panicked. So I called Gary and he fixed my problem on the spot. His prices were affordable compared to Sears which they charge an arm and a leg. I recommend this guy for all your appliance needs.
