I started my day today realizing my daughter did not get home last night, and panicing. I know I probably drove the Operators, Constable Houle. (Hope that's how you spell it) ,Search and Rescue and the rest of you guys crazy . Only a Daughter would try to twist that into a, ''It's your Fault that I went Crazy''. I found somebody's lost license plates and i called to ICBC so they can notice owner where to pick. They cant help. Then i called to this RCMP place and they said as well, this is not what we do. I just felt this is too agressive ignorance knowing that new plates will cost 18CAD to owner. By the way BC plates number KW3959 in Saltery Bay near postal boxes just before entry to ferry

the place is really clean inside and the officers are very polite even when talking to you about why your lucky they didn't press assault charges.

Its 4:30 AM in the morning. I am waling back to home from my work. I saw a big bear in front of me. I got very scared. I started walking in opposite direction. I stand at one spot and tried calling non- emergency number. A lady pick up my phone call and said Ok go to your home from othe direction. I felt very helpless. She didn’t even send any help. Bear is walking on Alberni street and my house is there. There is no other way to go to home. Now, I am standing at front of Mcdonalds. It will open at 5. This is my second workplace. I will ask for a ride from my co-worker. I can not count on you guys if I don’t feel safe in this town anymore.

Many thanks to the officer who helped us in the early hours of Thursday. I regret not getting his name!My husband had a psychotic episode and I couldn’t control him...the officer was very understanding andhis calmness helped both of us ( and the cat)!After the delirium faded we were able to sleep and had a safe ride back home. Please thank theambulance attendants too.We are grateful to have had such a positive response to a negative situation.LynnevNeufeld
