Missing - lost shipment!!!They lost 10% of my shipment!! Including one big luggage and pieces of furniture!! They told me that the only thing that I could do was to fill a complaint form and today, two months later, they still haven't replied!Moreover, some items were broken and completely dirty! They probably stock the shipment outside or somewhere really humid because a few things were RUSTED when I received them! And at last they don't even notify you when the shipment has arrived to destination, that is probably because they hope that you let pass the free month of free stock so that they can charge you more! So, if unfortunately you decide to get ripped off from this company, check frequently on the status of the shipment because they're not gonna tell you on their initiative!

We are so disappointed with our move and I would never reccomend CLVL. Short version was the movers used on the front end were careless and unprofessional. We used their packing service and we had so many things broken. The claim turn around time is unsatisfactory. The pickup team lead in Toronto was telling us how he was fired from the company I work for. And offered us 50$ for replacement.Full story. The receptionist was quick to respond to our inquiries and I felt comfortable using them for our move. Their pricing was not the cheapest but not the most expensive. We arranged for packing of our stuff and shipment from Toronto to Edmonton.Drivers showed up in the morning right on time. Had tons of wardrobe boxes where they just threw stuff in (as you can see from the photos). Breakables and non breakables.When the packing was 99% done my husband was in the elevator with one of the movers. They were chatting and the mover was telling my husband how he was fired from his previous job due to theft" of his partners car. Well that actually happens to be the company we both work for.We got our items about 2-3 weeks later. The timeline was ok.So you are aware the fact you paid for packing service has nothing to do with unpacking. They brought large items (sofa and bed) upstairs. Everything else remained on the main level for us to deal with.We had a whole bunch of broken dishes.Shatter fridge door on our wine cooler and a dent in the back of it.Broken night stand not sure the purchase price.Our mattress was returned with something disgusting on it.Hand made quilt was packed with peroxide

I would recommend Canada’s Leading Van Line to anyone who is looking for a moving company! They are always on time, and their prices are competitive. The staff is friendly and they will do everything they can to make your move as smooth as possible.

DON'T HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!Move from Victoria BC to Red Deer ABThis has been the worst experience of my life! All good until the delivery date.- one driver came to unload my belongings at 8:30pm I told Edwin from Vega no come tomorrow morning at 8:30am as scheduled.- had to scramble and find friends to unload the truck- left moving blankets and placed thing everywhere, told where to put stuff orginally (tires in the bathroom? Not a good choice)- couch ripped from him ramming a dolly under it, picture with a finger whole in it, TV smashed, lampshade kicked in, dishes broke, EVERYTHING WAS SOAKING WET FROM A LEAK IN THE TRUCK! peices to my lamp missing, all bedroom furniture scuffed and very dinged up. Nothing was wrapped properly even though it looked find when it left Victoria bc.I put my claim and waited my six weeks and now I've been dealing with Leah Arkin. My expectations with this move was to get everything back in the same condition. That is not the case! Leah offered my 100.00 which wont cover anything! We've sent countless emails back and forth and apparently she the highest" manager in the office. Shes been nasty to deal with and shes making things up about this extra coverage which I apparently denied. That's BS because the other day is the first time I hear about this.I would stay away from hiring this company! All the good reviews are a scam!TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW NOT TO HIRE THEM!!IF YOU HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE TELL THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU!!"

Canada’s Leading Van Line is great. I've never had a move go so smoothly before. Not only did they show up on time and provide me with a quote, they also delivered my items in perfect condition, and at the quoted price! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers.

I used CLV out of Calgary to move all my furniture and belongings to New Brunswick in Nov/Dec 2020, I'm going to make this very short, I paid extra for wrapping of my furniture and every piece of furniture was either scratched or cracked and or broken. I do not recommend this company for moving your valuable furniture across the country, after waiting 10 weeks to the day, they offered me 50.00 dollars, after considering the 210.00 dollar deductible. I was shocked and totally disappointed. I told Leah to keep the 50.00 dollars and that they would absolutely never get a recommendation by me. Oh the driver was in such a hurry that they rammed my dresser in the wall coming in the house and never even said a word about it, i had to repair this out of my own pocket and CLV never offered any compensation for that whatsoever.

My mother just used this company for a city to city move. They tried to hold her things hostage and demanded $2000 above the quote once they arrive at their destination. They did serious damage to the furniture and the flirting. They dropped many, many boxes on the ground.My mother was in tears after the move and cannot bear to open her boxes containing her mother’s crystal and China.They showed total contempt during the move.Do not use this company.We have pictures if anyone would like to see the damage.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR GOODS!The care to not damage your belongings is not a priority for this company. Many of our boxes were damaged and just tossed without any regard.In addition, my 55 HDTV was completely destroyed. After waiting 12 weeks

I emailed a bunch a different companies as I was moving from Alberta to Montreal and this was the company with whom I chose to go. They were clear with their answers and I found they gave the best rate. The most expensive part was actually the stairs going up my second floor in Montreal ;)I was very descriptive with what I was shipping, not wanting to pay extra, that at the end my shipment even weighted less than anticipated! you will NOT have a bad surprise if you actually describe everything that you own.I moved from Lethbridge to Montreal.First, a truck came to Lethbridge. There was the driver and 2 guys loading the stuff. They were kind a professional. They took the stuff to Calgary. From Calgary, it changed into another truck going to Toronto and then from TO, it went to MTL. I moved a house into an apartment and all went well. Everything was there, nothing broke except a ceramic rice bowl, which was probably due to my packing, not their fault. They moved my expensive couch, nice mid-century furniture, bikes, etc.They were right in their timing. From TO they called and offered me two dates to choose from for delivery.ANYHOW, i had moved from Montreal to AB 6 years ago using a different company but wasn't happy so im so glad I moved with Canada Leading Vans this time. I spoke with Ivy by emails several times, she was great.Thank you!
