Awesome owner and great staff and they actually have a little bit of everything at descent prices. I like that it's close to me but also because the staff there are super friendly.

Mini-Max is Callingwoods' comparable to Medicine Hat's Starlight. Vintage private convenience store. Gladly spending 60% more on large Folgers tins than I would at Costco. Supporting local business for almost 20 years.\o/

I have recently become a regular since moving into west Edmonton village. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. I find that I'm looking for reasons to go visit cause there is always a friendly conversation to be had. Selection is adequate and you should prepared to pay convenience store prices as you would elsewhere. Convenience isn't cheap, nor should it be with Safeway only 2 blocks away. All in all I would highly recommend to friends and family.
