Idk it was nice to eat lunch outside but the rules from 2021 were pretty bad in the school, ex. cant even touch our laptops when eating lunch, no phones(all other electronics are permitted though) we weren't allowed to play any sports in the little class spaces we were provided outside, gym was disco dancing(something that I will never ever need in my life)

This school is a great school , the teachers are strict but push you need, I highly recommend it. Also like all of the negative reviews are kids that probably got bad grades and because of 1 incident the school has acknowledged and now they strive for equality and no injustice among students.

Principal was unaware of anything, teachers were so blind to bullying and the other students were horrible. This was the worst school I've been to in my entire life. I highly recommend sending your child elsewhere. I have learned nothing at this school. The principle was horrible to the parents and say its my fault. I rate worst then 1 star. I am a student and they can punish me but my thoughts matter even if the teachers don't care

Pretty bad time. Not just bad, but MOVIE bad. Sometimes it's the little things that add up, and during my experience, there were a LOT of them.If you forgot your swim suit, you'd be forced to wear one of their spares (I hope they changed this!)Students bullied a teacher for being overweight until she quitSome teachers yelled at students until they cried (one kid fell asleep in an early morning class and was treated to an earful)Couldn't get to my locker because students would purposely block my way (there was also a lot of bullying)I still remember in cooking class being forced to do the dish washing" chore by my group

Apparently there is bullying going on within the school. A boy is bullying a girl, the VP and SUPERINTENDENT are doing NOTHING to stop this boy from bullying her. It may be because of the different races between them i do not know. What i do know is regardless of the race he as a boy should not be able to continue bullying this girl because of his future". His parents and the school need to be held accountable. Why is this little boy able to get away with bullying someone elses child since NOVEMBER 2018 and still attend the school with no form of discipline? I would NEVER send my child to this school EVER! Do not do it if you care for your childrens safety!!! They do not care about their well being they care about the dollars!!! Please protect your children at all costs from schools like this! Where your childs safety is secondary!!!"

Faculty has no concern for the safety of their students. If your a person of colour this school will NOT look out for your well-being, nor respond appropriately to incidents that happen on school grounds. Unfortunately an incident needs to be made public before the appropriate actions are taken, shows the integrity of the people working at this location.

This school is so low budget. They spend like 2 bucks on the school and the rest goes to like crack or smthing. We literally have to reuse notebooks that are 5 years old bc the school cant afford 2 cent notebooks that go for like 25 cents for 100. Seriously DO NOT send your kid here it will be the worst experience of his/her life.

Three sons all had very good experiences at this school, including one in the autistic spectrum who was treated well and with respect The last of the three graduated in 2008. Administration was kind, ready to learn, flexible, and competent, including P, VP, and guidance counsellor at the time. All went on to secondary school with solid academic backgrounds, with positive attitudes and having learned to care for others.

My time here was short but sweet. I have had a variety of teachers, both good, and bad, with some going to the extreme. Regardless, I have had pleasant experiences here because of Glenview's vast community of helping staff and students. I'd like to give special thanks to Dr. M for being a great teacher and intellectual mind to pick for information if you're in his class, take advantage of the opportunities he will provide for you. As Well as thanks to Mr. Leblanc for his bits on financial literacy in math classes, helping teaching the advantages of basic financial literacy and compound interest in a fun but educational way.

I was a grade 8 student in the 2018/19 year and I was appalled at the way this school managed the problems with racism. I transferred there in October of the 2017/18 year hoping for a better experience, I started grade 7 at another Middle School that will remain unnamed, I did not enjoy that learning environment so I transferred to Glenview. The office staff was/is disrespectful, the teachers were/are unforgiving and do everything by the book, if you are a visual learner or require special assistance you will be shortchanged with poor technology and resources. If you do not abide the rules, you will be targeted, the teachers will mark you harsher and you will lose your own personal time as they will keep your during lunch or for detention. This doesn't go for all the teachers but I had experiences with a few Science, English, and Math teachers who assigned major amounts of homework, I would come home and be doing homework nonstop until about 10 o'clock, and I was a patient student, if you have a short attention span you will not complete your homework, you will be forced to roll it in with the next days homework and that will repeat continuously. If you are ever thinking of coming to attend this school. Please don’t. There are so many options out there and this is not a viable one.(Edit for 2022)There are some reviews for this school that are positive, and I trust that those students were happy with their experiences, but myself and many others have not enjoyed this experience, yes, middle school is hard. But in this building, with these teachers, it becomes very difficult to succeed. Many students will likely be learning but doing poorly on assessments due to the lack of support and the confusing questions. I am now in grade 11 and I am getting straight 90s. If you are currently at a student and are doing poorly, do not lose faith, when highschool rolls around, you will likely succeed. The long and the short of it is, I'm not rating this school a 1/5 because I was a bad student, or because I got bad grades. I am rating this school in such a manner because I think, from my experiences, that this is what it deserves.
