The response timeframe was almost immediate and the quality of product he produced and price was fantastic.. Grant said my sporran should be ready in 4 weeks and he was spot on. I recently purchased my fourth sporran from L & M Highland Outfitters since 2005. Their quality and selection is among the finest available, and their unique, handmade designs evolve over time. There is no artistic stagnation here! When revisiting their site through the years, I am always pleasantly surprised by the new additions that I see. Phenomenal service and craftsmanship! Grant and company go above and beyond to work with you throughout the entire process, providing updates and suggestions along the way. I have ordered stock Sporrans and ordered custom Sporrans and I am always amazed with the product I receive. Their leather Sporran Straps are also the best I have ever had and I recommend them as an alternative to the usual chain strap. It's good to know that there are still traditional artisans out there.

I ordered a custom sporran, and the craftsmanship was second to none. I received the order by mail, and had no issues. In fact, when I was designing the sporran, I asked if they could use a cantel I saw from another website. They looked into whether their suppliers had the cantel, or a design similar to it. Most places would have just said no, or pointed to what was in the catalog. They were very accommodating, and I'd recommend doing business with them again.

I had a vintage cantled sporran that needed to be re-bagged. Grant worked with me to help choose an appropriate leather and matching belt. We then added a badge with backing on the front. The work was first-class. I now have a custom sporran unique to me. I also own a simple leather purse (military style) and a full-mask sporran from L&M. Very happy with both the quality and functionality of each of them. Highly recommended.

We ask Grant and his team at L&M for new horsehair sporrans for our pipe band, as they were older and we did not like the design of them. Instead of just doing that and charging for us for new sporrans, Grant discussed an option to refurbish and refit our old sporrans with new hardware, giving them new life and an updated look. This pretty much cut the cost for us in half and we received absolutely beautiful looking sporrans.L&M was extremely easy to work with and it was great to have a discussion about our requirements and figure what would work best for us and what our vision was. On top of that the refurbs were affordable in comparison to other suppliers of horsehair sporrans. And the project was done quickly, meeting our deadline easily.We are very eager to work with Grant again, and get the rest of our sporrans re-done

Because of Grant and his company(L+M Outfitter) I now have the most beautiful sporran with a Celtic Wolf Cantle I could ever have imagined. I bought the wolf cantle on line and then contacted Grant about making a custom sporran. Grant is an exceptional artist (as are his artisans who work with him) and he was very gracious to me during the entire process. I will not hesitate to recommend L+M to anyone.
