Island View Motel

Nice and clean place. But my only 2 complaints were that there was no AC there, and that the wifi was just terrible. Was a nice enough place to sleep for the night, but if you're staying longer, this may not be for you.

This is a horrible place to stay in. The WiFi was horrific and was super slow. If you are coming from a place where you are use to using a lot of WiFi, don’t come here. If you want good WiFi, I recommend going to the front desk which is outside and not inside the resident. The carpets are smelly and the bed sheets doesn’t look clean. I believe that this place shouldn’t even deserve a star with all the out dated funitiures and kitchenware. There are bugs everywhere and seems like the owners don’t care much of cleaning the racks to preserve it from rotting. If you are coming here, I feel like it’s over priced for the one night stay. The walls are sad and I refuse to take off my shoes or go close and touch any of the walls. I never knew I was this Germaphobic until I came here.

I had a fantastic day at the Island View Motel. It has all the features you need bed washroom TV. Besides you're only 10 minutes away from the westside of Saint John New Brunswick.

We wherever impressed.when you 1st pull in doesn't look like all that much but very friendly and clean.excellent water pressure which you won't find around at motels close by.consider this motel over the hillside .price is right .

Decent and reasonable priced place to lay over a night or too. Had ocean view too. Old school but acceptable

Bad, really bad period!! Place is falling apart. Walls are filthy, room is dirty. The shower has mould, rooms are nasty! I could go on.... I think most guests were locals permanently living there. I travelled many places and slept at some real dives. This one takes it, I’m thinking this is my first one star rating.

Needs to be renovated. No pool but old hotel information sheet stuck on the wall mentions pool rules. Old curtains, worned off kitchenette, etc. Not Near any restaurant, except small farmers market. Maybe in a year, it will be better.

If you want a nice stay, don't go there. We booked via Bookings and paid online. When we arrived, the hosts didn't want to let us enter because they didn't receive the money: there was a problem between him and the Bookings website. It wasn't on us. And he had proof that we paid!The rooms were smelly, cold and unclean. And the hosts were borderline rude. If you're a poor student with no feelings and no sense of smell, then you'll be okay.

It has four rooms. Very quaint. Well run, good management. We only stayed one night. They told us this place to eat and they had entertainment with an older woman that has been all over the world. It was really a very special time.

The beds are not very clean, with cigarette burns on the sheets and on the carpets. Suspicious stains in the bathtub, broken chairs and loose electrical sockets on the wall, evidence of leaks on the ceiling, and the Wi-Fi here is verrrrrrrrrrrry terrible.
