I love this course! It is kept in fantastic shape and seems to be improving all of the time. The staff are very friendly, food is hot and fresh and the club house offers great views of the 18th and 9th greens. I have read some of the negative reviews and totally disagree with them the tee times are spaced out more than other courses I’ve played in the past and if you have lots to comment about the Marshalls then I suspect you are being talked to about your behaviour to often and perhaps that’s the issue. Go out and enjoy 18 holes at Rivendell you won’t regret it!

Course is well maintained and a bit challenging. If you’re looking to have a good time while golfing this is not the place however. Marshall was extremely rude and confrontational. Tried to play for my uncle’s birthday and ran into nothing but problems. Will not be back.

This is a good course but it is packed and that can be hard if you are a bad golfer like me ;). Staff are good and if I could get in Thursday Wing night sure seems popular. Maybe after the covid surge wears off it will be place to attempt to hit balls for differs like me.

I have golfed at this location several times and this is my overall experience.Pros:- Course is in nice condition and provides a challenge.- Food is good (but overpriced).Cons:- Disrespectful staff in the clubhouse and on the course. The marshal has always had a terrible attitude and I have experienced it more than once.- Very slow pace of play. It almost seems as if the tee times are not far enough apart, usually a two group wait per hole.- For longer hitters there are very few holes you can use your driver.- Rude and entitled older members who are less than welcoming.Overall in my experience at Rivendell I tend to leave the course wondering if it is worth the 30+ min drive to get there and be treated so poorly by the staff. I always tend to give others the benefit of the doubt, sadly the issues with Rivendell don’t seem to be changing and I don’t think I will be returning.

Course is good and well maintained .. a bit challenging for beginners but a lot of fun. However, marshall ruined our experience. We were playing ahead of pace and he constantly bothered our group and was extremely rude and sour even though we had a massive gap ahead of and behind us.
