Amazing building with huge hockey amenities. Very large and clean dressing rooms, well stocked and friendly food service. The world's best bacon sandwich!Clearly a sense of community pride for this building.

Almonte FibreFest held here this weekend. A sensory feast for makers - experienced the 'kid in a candy store' feeling of awe. Plenty of helpful crafter/artists, beautiful wools for all sorts of crafting. Will definitely return next year. Thanks to all who are making this event a memorable success! Can't wait to start working on my projects.

Played a youth hockey home-and-home tourney with Squirt teams from Almonte, Ontario and Acton,Mass some decades ago. The Almonte facility was huge by what we were accustomed to Included the Curling Center; essentially their town recreational and gathering center. Superb by any standard in hospitality and facilities

Such a cute little town, have a bunch of cute little stores and cafes, I could definitely spend all day here. I am from Nova Scotia and it reminds me of lunenburg. I definitely recommend coming to walk around. Also apparently many Hallmark Christmas movies are shot here !

Thank you for hosting Fibrefest this year.Nice clean facilities and working bathrooms.The event would have been amazing if the arena had some way to vent off the heat.I need to wear a mask when around people, but I couldn't breathe in the arena because it was so warm and stuffy inside.Customers and vendors were all complaining about the over warm stuffiness of the arena.Even pre-covid it was too warm in the arena during the Fibrefest events.The open doors did nothing to aid with air circulation.Get some powered roof vents, please.
