My spouse and I bought 4 different houses over 25 years. Mr. Mark Habib helped us in great detail, with pleasant effective mannerism. We recommended his services to our close friends and received positive feedback from all those.We will recommend him with great comfort to anybody.

Me and my fiance worked with Mark when we bought our first home. He was very thorough with explaining everything and was willing to explain things to us if we asked. HORRIBLE experience. I have done 4 transaction with them in the last year. This last one, they put the wrong name on the wire transfer from the house sale, funds were thus on hold at the bank and eventually had to be returned. I spend hours on the phone with my bank trying to get it rectified and during the process incurred additional penalties and interest charges totalling just under $500. They would not take accountability for their mistake saying it was the bank that took so long to return the wire but this is the normal process when an erroneous transfer is received at a bank (5 days), and it was their clerks error that caused this whole fiasco. It has now been 9 days and the funds have yet to be received from my house sale. Mark agreed to cover any NSF fees that I incurred due to this, but only ended up covering one ($45) of the 4 fees ($186) that were triggered and has not covered any of the additional interest payments we have incurred during the 9 day period. Not to mention the hours I spent on hold with the bank. Unfortunate but they will now loose recurrent clients and referrals we have been giving them.

By far the best real estate lawyer in Ottawa. Very attentive to detail and makes the process of buying a house so easy and comfortable and makes you feel you're in good hands. Well recommended.

This is the best Law firm in Ottawa! and when I say that it means I called a lot of Law firm offices in ottawa and you would never speak to the lawyer or get an appointment it's always you speak to an assistance and she would schedule you for a next week or two and then when you finally speak to the lawyer he would either decide to do it or not.First when you call the office which is the first point of contact the LAWYER HIMSELF answer the phone (Mark) you speak directly to the lawyer which is very nice and he will tell you right away what you need to do. He helped me with real estate services and it was very smooth process. their prices are very fair and it's the same with everyone else but with better services!

Mark Habib was my lawyer in a real estate transaction. He knew my deadlines yet did not respond to any emails or calls for THREE DAYS and I was forced to drop the property. His assistant kept promising that he would call me back but he did not. In such a competitive market the property got picked up the moment I dropped it. This was an investment property that involved weeks of work with mortgaging, inspections, realtors, and insurance agents, etc. I had to drop the deal because my own lawyer would not respond to me. I cannot recommend him or his office.

I am so grateful to have to meet Nizar. He is an excellent lawyer. Extremely professional, honest and helpful. I will recommend him with great comfort to anybody.
