D on D Dental (Coxwell)

I came for a dental cleaning here. Apart from minor cavities, I had no major problem.I was told I should get my wisdom teeth removed rather than getting a filling in it (the cavity was minor) as they are not useful for eating/chewing as human beings have evolved. I had no chewing issue before.So I was charged $1800 for the extraction for 2 of these.I would not recommend anyone to get any extraction done unless it’s absolutely necessary (normally one is supposed to trust a place but it is a business). I feel I was chewing better before (was likely using the wisdom teeth for chewing).Update: After Dr Danishvar found out I was not happy she tried to address my concerns.After some time I stopped being concerned about the chewing. Due to her effort in trying to address my concern, I still visit her clinic and she still greets me fine.

I have an amazing experience with D on D Dental. All their team are so wonderful. DR.D was my dentist and she went above and beyond my expectations. She referred me for a sleep study, I was surprised to find out I have sleep apnea and I require a sleep appliance, I can now sleep at night and don't wake up anymore. The hygienist (Jenny) is really helpful and gentle. overall I had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this office

I have been taking my daughter here for a few years, she always insist to see Jenny (hygienist).She always makes her feel comfortable, very friendly, provides great feedback to any questions/concerns you may have. Booking an appointment is very easy, and they follow up to confirm aswell, which is great. l highly recommend this clinic.

I used to be a patient but moved on after a bad experience with one of the female dentists. The receptionist and hygienist were lovely but after one visit with the dentist I was turned off. While I was waiting to be seen I could hear the dentist having a loud verbal altercation with a colleague in the next room. Then she suggested about 5-6 surgeries/procedures that were going to cost a lot of money. I've since moved down the street to another dentist and they said that none of the procedures were necessary. My wallet and mouth are much happier.*added after post and response from DonD.The office responded to my review and disclosed several personal and confidential details about my oral health. Most of which weren’t accurate but still. They tried to say I had sleep apnea and wanted to send me to a sleep clinic, which upon reading other reviews seems like a pattern for them.

Not good, they wanted me to get a TONNE of work done. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and she said 90% of it was unnecessary. They are also disorganized, initially they said they would take my insurance info and bill them directly, but about 2 hours before my appointment they called to say that wasn't possible anymore and I would have to pay out of pocket.

I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. D. I had zero pain and swelling afterwards. The doctor is very knowledgeable and kind. She made me feel very comfortable during the surgery, and made sure I didn't feel a thing. I also get regular cleaning done here by the hygienist, they make sure my teeth look great and take great care of my oral health. Thank you D on D team!

Zero stars. I only gave one star because Google makes you.I had a terrible experience at this clinic. They are disorganized, awful communicators and do shoddy work. They caused me a lot of pain and cost me a lot of time and money.Initially, I was told I had six cavities and when I showed up for my appointment they told me I had eight (four on each side). They never addressed the discrepancy despite my asking several times.After the treatment, I was experiencing severe pain, which I was not experiencing prior to the treatment. I had to go in for several extra appointments and they eventually had to redo the filling. It was better but still not great. I had to go to another dentist who was able to fix it. He also told me I didn't have any cavities on my left side (they said I had four).Dr. Daneshvar thought I had sleep apnea and sent me to a sleep clinic. The report was sent to her but she couldn't bother to look at it for weeks. I told her that the doctor at the sleep clinic said I do not have sleep apnea and my GP didn't seem bothered by the report. After I told her I would no longer be her patient, she finally looked at my report and told me I need a CPAP machine and a sleep appliance. The sleep clinic has reiterated that these treatments would be completely unnecessary. She didn't seem fazed to be giving bad medical advice outside of her area of expertise to someone who was not her patient.It was really frustrating trying to get them to send my x-rays to my new clinic. It took a lot of calls and emails and they finally sent them but it was after my consultation despite promising to send them beforehand.Here's a weird thing that happened: after getting my filling redone, her office manager called me and said there was something wrong with my filling and to come in to get it fixed. I reluctantly did so, thinking something was wrong, only to find out that Dr. Daneshvar didn't even realize that another dentist at her clinic had already redone the filling.I can go on and on but all I can say is you should avoid both locations of D on D Dental.

I’ve been going to D on D dental for a few years now and have always been very happy with the care I’ve received. Recently I needed emergency care and was offered a same day appointment. Dr. Ritesh Briah was absolutely fantastic. I can be nervous with bigger procedures and he took the time to explain everything and make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. His dentistry work is top notch. I highly recommend him if you’re looking for a dentist.
