I was intrigued by the variable reviews, so decided to try for myself.It was a good diner-pub. The fries had a seasoning--which isn't my favourite, but my partner enjoys. My Nashville hot chicken wasn't as good as the one I had at the Upper Keg, but it was good. My partner said the fish and chips was good, but he said my home-made cole slaw was better.The place is a little rough around the edges, but you can see that the owners are still decorating as there are pictures to be hung. The bathroom was very clean.I will definitely go back--likely to have a quick bite or try their cheap and cheerful brekkie.I took pictures this time... you are welcome! My partner had taken a nibble of his fish. It didn't come that way!

Wonderful food! Welcoming staff! The excellent choices are aesthetically pleasing and delicious. The food is as it should be and affordable priced. Plus it is accessible on the first level. We have never been disappointed. Great restaurant!

Awesome little spot with excellent service, delicious food and reasonable prices. Breakfast portions were very good. Go for a Sunday drive and stop in.

We were traveling later in the evening and found this place by chance, but I'm definitely glad we did! The service was highly attentive to allergens and answered every question quickly and accurately, and always with a smile and willingness to help.Their portions are very generous, to the point where even leftovers are literally stuffed into the takeaway containers! I personally am not a fan of beef, but I couldn't deny the quality and tastiness of their Swiss Melt burger. The thin rice coating on their fries is delicious and adds a nice, satisfying little crunch, too.The price is extremely reasonable, especially given the portion size and quality of each dish. 3 people with extras and appetizers was still only $80.00 total. I highly recommend making the detour to stop by and give this place a try!

Went for the first time last night. Its been a while since I have had that good of wings and still very very affordable. They will be our new wing joint - have to find out if they have a wing night. Service was good - draft beer selection was minimal but I definitely won’t complain. We will be trying their fish and chips next

Quiet little hole in the wall with ambient lighting and a couple of televisions to watch the game. Great service, prep and handling of food, took special care to avoid allergens. Definitely recommend and will be returning in the future.

If travelling Taunton Rd, this place is a must!2363 Taunton Rd, Hampton, Ontario(Basically) Corner of Taunton and the old Scugog Rd, north of Bowmanville) not far from the hwy 115 if driving*Prices are very fair*Portion sizes are good (you won't leave hungry)*Quality is good*Clean*Peaceful environmentBurger was excellent, like a homemade BBQ... Big enough I had to eat it in sections (mouth isn't large enough to go over the whole thing... Lol... It was tasty!)Meatloaf was goodRibs were excellentPoutine was done perfectlyThis place is worth every centNot what I expected in a pub, not used to pubs being clean and peaceful like this place isMy only issue with the place, is that it's not close to where I live (approximately 1 hour away)Update, visited a 2nd time, same consistent excellent experience as last time, I hope it has no changes in the future (unless they move closer to the city I live in or open a 2nd location with the same great quality... Lol)

Had great time with friends in a new outdoor patio. But it is very very dusty outside from cars passing by in parking lot. Food is very delicious, portions could be better with lemon chicken.

Food is delicious and prices are more than fair. Kudos to the owner for taking on the task of renovating and bringing in entertainment to the establishment. I am a frequent diner and enjoy my meal every time. My only negative remark is ..i hope the wait staff will have some sort of dress code. Sleeveless tops should not be allowed as it is not pleasant to see someone's armpit while i get my food.
