Hunter at Rain Coast Dogs is a wonderful person. She communicates well, loves the dogs and is a wealth of knowledge on canine care & behaviour. Our girl always comes home tired, happy and muddy after her mountain adventures (but Hunter does towel down muddy paws).

I can't stop recommending Hunter to everyone. If you want your dog tired and happy when they get home from their walk, go with her! She has years of walking and training experience and is a great asset to our family!

When I first met Hunter I had a young herding type dog in need of proper training. Through excellent service and guidance I can confidently say that my dog has excellent training and superb social skills. I cannot recommend her enough! She is very professional and easy to work with! My only regret is not being able to rate more than 5 stars.

My dog is very reluctant to go with anyone but myself but she loves going hiking with Hunter. The hikes help me on days when I am working and give me lots of comfort knowing that my pup is happy and in good hands. Hunter's training abilities have helped my dog's behaviour and there is good communication all the way through. I am so grateful for this service and highly recommend!!

In 2018, adopted a 1 yr old Great Dane mix that had poor leash manners and was reactive to other dogs and strangers. As a small woman, I approached Hunter to help me train my new large friend. What I got was a comprehensive lesson on what motivates the behaviour my dog was displaying and how to intercept and redirect him. 4 years later, that gift has allowed me to understand what my big boy needs in uncomfortable situations- Hunter trained me, so I could be the best provider to my dog.
