Guardian Storage

This is the first time in my lifetime to use a storage facility. Maybe there was miscommunication between me and the employee in office. I don't know why but the employee was very impatient and rude. I think she needs some proper training for customer service. She even did not use any polite words. I started to ask her I want to pay my rental here and this is the first time I came to this facility. She asked me to speaker louder and impatiently requesting my unit number etc even though I told her multiple times I don't know the unit number. After ended up without finding any information in the system, I showed her reservation by email. She was triggered to shout why I did not say I have a reservation in the first place. Bla, bla... Then she continued to check the system again with clearly noisy sound slapping the mouse. In the end, I was told they don't have the unit I reserved on Uhaul and asked me to change to a bigger and more expensive unit. I asked her why my reservation was not guaranteed. And she impatiently said they have nothing to do with Uhaul, it is a separate company. Ok! I get it so reservation is just a joke, is it? I did not move in my belongs that day and came back today to move in my belongings, only found my unit was a special one with a pillar cutting through (see pictures. the first picture is my unit while the other picture is a normal unit). And I noticed this was the only such unit in this upper lane. The employee never told me about this and I felt like cheated on. I don't know why the employee was so unhappy on me for no reason. But anyway, the space was enough for my belongs since I don't have large furniture. Unpleasant experience and after my rentals I don't think I will use their service anymore.

We rented a van and it went perfectly well. We forgot our apartment's parking pass in the front seat and couldn't pick it up right away - the helpful fellow at the front desk actually brought it to our apartment when he was in the area a few days later. Super duper kind. We really appreciate the next-level customer service excellence. We'll come back here for rentals every time!

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the location in very convenient! Also helpful to have such a variety of packing materials.

I’ve rented from guardian two times now and both were wonderful experiences! They have an array of trolleys to help you move in with ease and ladders to help you get up to the top units. The customer service is great and organized and I will definitely be renting from here again!

Rented a locker recently. The staff was accommodating when showing me around to get the right size locker.I price shopped and Guardian Storage was pretty good. There are a lot of cameras so I think my belongings are pretty safe. The downhill parking lot is a little steep but no problem. Overall, great convenient location and nice new vans to rent.

The employees at the front desk are rude and lack proper training. The person who assisted me was not all courteous. She had trouble finding the booking and I did show her the booking email. Even after that she wasn’t ready to let me pick up the rental equipment. I could see the equipment was ready to be picked but she made me wait for about half n hour.

if i could, i would give this place 0 stars. we are no longer clients here and i wrote some time back about our horrible experience with this storage facility - all around unprofessional and rude, complete lack of customer service, no follow-up when our items were damaged inside our unit from their ceiling, dirty facilities...the list goes on.the reason i am back here today is because out of the blue i received an email to complete a survey where every single customer's email address is shared publicly. i called to confirm that this survey was in fact sent out by the company and not a hack and/or bot and was told that yes, the employee had in fact sent the survey. it wasn't even on her radar to protect client information.we have now been customers at storguard self-storage on terminal ave for the past 3 years and what a world of difference. better prices, cleaner facilities and consistently better customer service.protect your stored possessions and personal information, think long and hard before using this storage facility.
