More of a Canadian Satire". First impression was that one is not welcome with some kind of wood boxes barricading the main entrance inviting you to follow some kind of path on left like rats in a labirinth. Inside it s all clustered

Very weird location. They just renovated but it’s very hard to navigate the store. I guess they have issues with theft? You have to check all bags and purses at the door. Many products are locked in display cases. The aisles are very narrow and high so it’s hard to locate products. To check out you have to pass through a locking gate. Shopping here takes a lot longer and is a lot more frustrating, go to another location!

This is a small Canadian tire, with a bad vibe. I've been there 3 times and every time I have not felt welcomed. I explain: they have always this gard or employee at the exit, once they ask me for the receipt, and once I had a backpack and they asked me to open it. So two times out of 3 I felt pretty much harrased. Last time I went, they had put some strange controlled gate so you cannot go to the registers unless some employees activates the gate. I can imagine they are trying to prevent stealing , they are a little too extreme, and in my case they end up preventing me from having any interest to return, so I will go there only when I have no other option.

one of the worst canadian tires i’ve visited.its not the size or the products that impacted my review but the staff.its very small and compact.alleys can handle only one person one way.and the staff.they are :1- not well trained : they have no idea how the system works for a return.2- the store manager was very reculant to refund even if items were unopened and within all return conditions3- staff prioritized other clients over me? what??In sum. i’ll never step my feet in this particular branch of CT. Hopefully someone else has a better experience than me next time!

Worst Canadian Tire I ever experienced and I gave it a couple tries.Staff doesn't make you feel welcome. I feel as if I'm a thief each time I enter that store.Garda staff roaming around checking customer's every move.Staff warn you to not put anything in the bag you brought to bring back your stuff before even saying hello. Also first Canadian tire that I'm aware of a no dog policy.Last time I go there.

Great stock but the new layout is weirdly security-heavy. More cashiers and less of a corral/ slaughter pen feel at the high security checkout would be nice.

I dont often leave bad reviews but this place has the worst customer service. Took over half an hour for employees to find me a lid for a storage container which they supposedly had more than 10 in stock. Making me wait is one thing but they also gave me attitude, one guy even telling me it doesn’t come with a lid, saying the online ad is lying?! Get it together. Their prices keep going up, probably to spend more and more on security - they had a security guard with a bullet proof vest and electronic gates to get to the cash… 2 stars instead of 1 because the container was at a decent price (on sale) when I finally got it, and one employee looked harder than the others and got me the lid.

Store is packed and stuffed. Overall messy, hard to get around. But this is fine. The customer experience however is getting worse and worse. When you get in, now you're attacked by someone to grab your bag. When you want to exit, you need to wait for whoever to open the gate to pass the cashier then wait for your bag - if you don't need to wait for a staff to come first.Very annoying, feel unwelcomed, better go to another branch if you can. There is a huge clean bright one north Papineau with a big free parking, just saying.

It’s alright as far as Canadian tires go. My issue is the new entry and exit gates that they’ve added, I’m assuming to prevent shoplifting. It makes shopping there less enjoyable, plus the woman who seemed to be overseeing these automated gates was rude too. I just want to buy plant pots, not be yelled at

I had been a client for 19 years, but never shall I return to this store. My last visit was such a bad experience I had to wait a few days to calm down enough to write this review cogently. It is well within a storeowner's rights to put in place measures to guard against theft, but this store goes too far by locking customers inside the store until cashiers buzz them through to the registers. They were out of the article I was looking for, so I meant to simply walk out, but I found I was penned inside by an electronic gate, along with another confused lady. When my turn did eventually come and I was let through, I held the gate open for the next customer, since I did not actually need to take up a spot at the registers. The first cashier yelled at me one at a time!! one at a time!!"
