Forgot I never reviewed Mike! Perfect example of honest, high quality service. Very knowledgeable, confident, and friendly. Has the demeanor of an educator if you are interested in learning. Very grateful for his services rendered, and while I don't look forward to something breaking again, he will be my guy.

I called Mike when our washing machine stopped spinning. He instantly responded via text that he was going to do some research that night. He called me around 8:00 p.m. and helped to diagnose the issue over the phone. Three days later he arrived exactly when he said he would. Within two minutes he quoted me a price, gave an explanation, evaluated the value of the machine versus the value of the repair, and proceeded. He was clean, professional, and just genuinely nice. I wanted to know a bit more, and he was happy to talk me through the process.I cannot speak more highly of Mike on both the quality of his work, and his professionalism. He was transparent with pricing, fixed the machine at a lower cost than what I had seen quoted elsewhere, and was actually just enjoyable to have in the house. I have no doubt that I will give him a call if (when) anything breaks down in the future.

Mike returned my call very quickly. Was extremely helpful and knowledge over the phone. Took the time to offer his recommendations and expertise.

Mike from The Appliance Doctor is incredible. I recommend him to everyone. He has saved my wife and I a lot of money over the years even when he didn't have to. Mike diagnoses and tries to fix your problem right over the phone for no cost first, even at 8:00 on a Sunday night. Twice he has saved a dryer and a washer for us just over the phone which REALLY helped a young couple without much money. If he can't save the appliance he will recommend a specific replacement in your price range. A lot of businesses would set up an appointment to do the diagnosis then charge you for the labor/time no matter what. Not Mike. Mike is an honest man with an honest business who I call every time I have an issue with an appliance and you should too.

Never even had the chance to meet Mike, because he was able to make recommendations over the phone about a washing machine issue we were having, and just the phone conversation solved our problem! His honesty and integrity really came through in just one call, and I really thought it was worth a positive review.

Although I ended up not needing the services of Mike, he was VERY helpful over the phone when I initially called regarding my dryer (which was taking 2-3 cycles to dry my laundry). Mike was doing a service call at the time, but immediately called me back. He gave me instructions of how to clean my vent and what to look for. The problem was fixed right over the phone! He offered to come the next morning if we still needed service. I will DEFINITELY call the Appliance Doctor next time we need help at our house!

I own rental property in the Greater Portland area. I meant to leave Mike a review the 1st time he saved me. Then, the second time he saved me, I swore I was going to write a review. Now after Mike saved me a 3rd time, here's the review ... Mike is easily reachable, very helpful, fast service and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Our dish washer stopped working one night so I called these guys to see if they could come out. Instead, after explaining that he was in Florida on vacation, he explained the problem over the phone so my husband could fix it. They were on the phone for about 30 minutes. Really happy with his willingness to talk my husband through the problem and now my dishwasher works! Thanks again for help, you guys are awesome!

Mike was outstanding. He was prompt and informative even on a holiday weekend. My Fridge and Freezer died and he explained the possible faults and when he arrived tested them all. He explained cost ahead of time and informed of the options the entire way. Mike managed to come at 7:30 PM and was just as polite as anyone could ask for. Would rate higher if allowed.He will get any of my business going forward 100%
