I had a great experience with my surgery. The staff were very quick to respond to any questions, and I felt very comfortable throughout the experience. The doctor was also very nice!

Staff has gone above and beyond to help me after my eye surgery. The team is quick efficient and polite. All my questions have been answered quickly and easily. I had a complication the day of my surgery a few hours later just after the doctors went home and the staff was beyond accomodationg and helpful. Called 811 and they confirmed. Showed up the next morning and was seen promptly with news that was much better then expected.All in all very helpful and the doctors are highly skilled!

AVOID THIS CLINIC - Phoned 3 separate times in the past month. The first two times I can’t remember if they were the same receptionist but they were extremely rude with me on the phone and totally unprofessional. It sounded as if they didn’t want to help me with my questions. I assumed maybe they were just having a bad day so I brushed it off. Today though was the 3rd time and I managed to catch her name, Tess. She was extremely rude and had an attitude, this was the third time within a month. There are so many other great ophthalmologists in Edmonton that you can go to that will provide better services. *I would not feel comfortable taking my family members here nor will I recommend any of my friends.

I had LASIK with Dr. Leong-Sit and the results have been amazing! He was very good with explaining exactly what was going to happen prior to and during the procedure and the results have been great so far.Dr. Bakelaar has been great with follow up appointments as well. All other staff have been great as well.Highly recommend!

My sister-in-law makes an appointment here regularly for her eyes problems. Last time, this clinic didn't accept her appointment because of 5-10 minutes delay and posponed the appointment one month, while we always wait here about 1 hour. If you're that slow, you shouldn't be that strict with customers' delay!

Didn't notice any super busy stuff around. Rather those who paid little attention to visitors. Wish I never met really mean counselor. Hope to get better experience with doctor

We have a surgery scheduled with Dr. Kurji. His surgery coordinator Cheryl is impossible to reach at for any questions/concerns that you might have. The receptionist will tell you to leave a voicemail, and you best believe she will not call you back. I called again because my dad really needs to start his medications and we cannot until we talk to doctor or someone in the clinic. The receptionist brings another surgery team member, Samantha, who is literally so rude. She will hang up and throw in attitude to do what is her job. If you cannot, why bother being in a patient care service and risking people's lives by not providing proper advice (instead hanging up) or re-directing to doctor. My uncle called in the next time and they throw in attitude by asking patients to cancel appointment if you have questions." These are legitimate medication schedule questions. I am myself a pharmacist and needed advice from specialist. This is simply not how you patient care."

This is an over due review. My husband, myself & my mom have been patients at this clinic over years and despite the impatient and rude staff, we continued because the drs are excellent. They even forgot to notify us they cancelled our app'ts during pandemic and never called us back to reschedule as they said they would. But still my husband was referred back to them April 2021 as he had new cancer dx with eye symptoms. I called twice over several months to confirm receipt of referral and begged them to bring the referral to Dr's attention. A referral was made to a different dr and clinic in Aug. who saw him in less than a week. This clinic finally called in Sept 2021. The physicians are excellent and there are good people there. But there are equally excellent drs. elsewhere whose office can consistently manage their caseload with efficiency and compassion.

Dr. Khaliq Kurji did cataract surgery on both my eyes, spaced out two weeks. Whereas before my vision was blurry and the colours not sharp, now my vision has improved drastically. My right eye cataract was really bad and the surgery complicated but Dr. Kurji was able to get it all out. Thank you Dr. Kurji for doing an amazing job and restoring my vision. I highly recommend Dr. Khaliq Kurji to anyone needing cataract surgery
